Really quaint. Lovely colors and lights. Very festive.

Friendly and helpful staff (Accolades and thanks to Felix). Breakfast provided. Hot water and excellent A/C. Gated parking. Central to most of Playa Del Coco, so easy walking distance to boardwalk and main strip. Absolutely gorgeous swimming pool.

No coffee maker or tea kettle in room.

Cleaning

Very good location near the city center. Good property where you feel safe. Ample parking. Comfortable room with good A/C. Wifi wasn't completely reliable, but worked well enough. Good breakfast, not much to choose from, but pretty good food. A good value.

Would like more breakfast variety.

Bathroom needs updating and bed were hard . Kitchen cabinets doors need replacing.

Pool! Breakfast! The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and confortable. So close to the beach.

Coco beach is loud- lots of nightlife. But this hotel was quieter than most.

The breakfast was good and the location was ideal. The staff was friendly and everything was kept clean.

The room was disappointing. The bathroom was not very user friendly (lacked shelving and hooks), the toilet seat did. not fit and the lighting was horrible. The seal on the door of the refrigerator was coming off so the fridge didn't work well. The beds were uncomfortable and we were given one flat pillow and a thin bedspread per bed. Although the room was clean, it was rundown and there was visible rust on areas of the fridge and shower. It did not feel like a boutique hotel, but a little worn out motel. Maybe other rooms are better but ours was disappointing and uncomfortable.

The location was excellent. 2 minutes to the beach, 2 minutes to the Main Street. We loved the cute patios each room had. Breakfast was great and there was a beautiful breakfast patio for if you wanted to be social. Nice to see so many fellow Canadians there.

The beds were not great.

I would definitely return. Really nice people. Charming basic room, great setup by the pool. Downtown and the beach are only a block away. Everything to walk to. At night, its a loud party town, and I couldn't hear anything in my room.

Hard pass on the breakfast, but if you need more rice and beans and a hard boiled egg in your life, it's fine. Coffee tasted like a weak Folgers. The good news is, there are two absolutely fantastic authentic coffee houses a block away! The touch-on/off bedside lamp, would flash on like a strobe light throughout the night, it must be getting an electrical "hit" from time to time making it flash on and off. Woke me several times.

Bed was hard

Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast very punctual which mattered for us catching our dive boat. It was very useful being able to use the tumble dryer.

We were there during exceptionally heavy rain and it tended to flood over into our patio area. (Not into the room, though.) The entrance from the road also didn’t always drain and you had to get your feet quite wet getting in and out. Mind you, the roads of the whole town were like rivers at times.

Hotel was lovely and clean, beds were comfortable, pool was clean with towels available to also use for the beach. Sitting area outside the room was nice and spacious with a comfortable lounge. Breakfast was pretty basic, but we were prepared for that. Staff were really friendly, giving lots of tips and advice including letting us know about the waterfall further up the beach which was really nice. It was raining a lot so we weren't able to do much but chill out, which was what we needed anyway, this was a comfortable place to chill.

Maybe have some yoghurt and cereal available on the breakfast table rather than the pastries which were pretty dry and seemed a little old. The Shower head in the bathroom was also pretty basic and could do with replacing.

Breakfast at 7 was a bit late if you have activities planned. Otherwise, tip top.

The location was pefect - short walk to the beach and beach side restaurants, and also a short walk to the main shopping/restaurant street, but with no associated noise from either. The staff were very helpful, the pool was lovely (and hardly used during our stay, except by us). We liked the low-key and 'quirky' nature of Toro Blanco, and were very happy with their focus on reducing waste, e.g. we liked that towels and linen were not changed daily, so unnecessary and wasteful.

Breakfast was a wonderful addition. We enjoyed the room and our patio area.

The pool was refreshing. The room was spacious and it is always nice to have a kitchenette. The bathroom was large . It was nice to have a balcony but the furniture was big and heavy and took up most of the space. The location is great . It is walking distance to the beach , shops, restaurants and many activities. The statues in bathing suits made me laugh. We met two other couples who were visiting and they were very friendly.

We were charged more than our booking but I didn't notice until we had left . We were tired and hot from the drive to Coco and I didn't think to check the price. We were not satisfied with the breakfast and went looking for something else the next day.

The suite was well set up and comfortable with a nice balcony to sit at. The breakfast was good with a homemade feel. They had lots of beach / pool toys and mats to borrow if needed.

There was no power when we arrived (nothing the hotel could do about that but it was hot and no air conditioning) it would have been really nice to use the pool but it was too dirty to use. The water was cloudy and it had bugs floating in it. I did see someone vacuum the some of the bugs out of it the next morning but it was still cloudy and too dirty to use even after “cleaning”

Very cozy place. Conveniently located close to the ocean.

Beds are very hard. Taking plates from room to eat was kind of different.
