Hotel Löwen Garni - B&B

Simple room, but good for a place like this where most everyone is coming to visit Europa Park or Rulantica, not to stay in their hotel room. We had the space that we needed, it was clean, and even had a little balcony area. There was a plentiful breakfast, and the staff, who we only saw in the mornings, were pleasant. Information for self check-in was communicated clearly ahead of time.

The price seems high for what you get here, but we stayed over Halloween to attend the events at Europa Park, so it's quite possible the prices were higher due to demand that weekend.

We stayed in a double room, very very spacious, perfect for a family of four. Breakfast is very decent, organized, no complains. Location is flawless. Quiet.

There is basically the room and nothing else as reception area closes right after lunch time. I knew that. It is just that a commom area would be appreciated when we travel with family.Overall good.

- The room was nice- Breakfast had everything and was delicious - The location was perfect. It's around 10 minutes from europapark (nice walk), near several restaurants (around 5 minutes walk maximum), and very close to two different bus stops (2-4 minutes).

There were small things missing such as slippers, bigger towels, head caps, shower kits ... Missing restaurant service for the day or night, but to be fair we already knew that.

Great location and spacious room. Breakfast included and it was a large variety of warm and cold selections. Wifi was very fast and reliable. We will definitely come back.

The key padlock didn’t work when we arrived but we called the phone number and they were able to support us on the phone. This is a huge relief and they opened the lock for us within seconds electronically. They thought of everything.

The owners were amazing and super friendly. We had an issue with the lady the lives in the house next door to the property. She yelled at us for taking our dog out to use the bathroom. She said all the property even the area touching the hotel was hers. She was very rude and even started taking pictures of us waking our dog. I immediately told the owner and within minutes the issue was solved. Of this happens to you just call or talk to the owners and they will talk to the lady for you.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! The breakfast was really great for both kids and adults. Our room was very clean and super quiet! I would stay here again!

Friendly receptionist, air conditioning, laundry service, perfect location, nice breakfast. We didn't use the fridge stocked with cold drinks available at reception but it's a great idea. The little patio seating area outside our room was a perfect spot to sit and relax.

Cigarette smoke outdoors from other guests was unpleasant - had to close the windows when we were trying to get fresh air, and they were often smoking in the common area between our room and the breakfast/reception area.

As always everything is as you expect. Clean, perfect location for Europapark, breakfast was good, staff very friendly. Easy for charging the car overnight. We’ve stayed a few times now and will be back again.

Nothing bad to stay about it.

I really wanted to like this hotel. Communication was excellent prior to checkin. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the park entrance and 2 minutes from the bus stop for Ringsheim train station. Our room with 4 beds was quite large. Everything was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our included generous breakfast - everything was fresh and it filled us up.

I think this complaint is room specific. We had a room with 4 beds. Room 44. The AC made a horrible noise. With the AC running, this noise would happen every 2 to 3 minutes. I don’t know how to describe it other than saying it sounded like a loud buzzer. With the AC off, it still happened every 10 to 15 minutes. I asked reception about it and they said it was normal because it was so humid out. Our third day had low humidity and we still had the noise. I could not get a good sleep any of the 3 nights because of the sound - there is no way this sound is normal on this type of AC. Also room specific, room 44 is above the breakfast room. The music in the breakfast room wasn't loud - but the bass from the speakers are located just below the floor of the room and the sound comes through to the room. This started every morning just before 7am. You could only hear it when the AC was not running. I would not return to this location if traveling with my family of 4. Maybe the experience would be different in a different room.

Great apartment for a big family with 4 children- this is the reason we chose this place. You get 2 bedrooms and a big bathroom. The location is perfect. 10 minutes walking distance from Europe Park, there are nice restaurants and stores walking distance. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is excellent- our children loved it. Even the laundry service was fast and very good. The rooms were very spacious, had comfortable closets, a TV and air-conditioning. The parking is free for guests and close to the rooms.

I wish there would be a kettle in the room or at least hot water in the Lobby. Also I would prefer having more comfortable pillows.

Very good location, walking distance to Europa-Park and restaurants. Spacious room with 2 bathrooms. Excellent breakfast.

The only downside we encountered was that the AC was making a regular annoying noise every couple of minutes, and that there was no AC in the second room and it was quite hot.
