    Pros +

    • The experience with the staff was terrific, and everything was very clean. The breakfast was quite nice and the location was extremely convenient for visiting Europa Park.

    • Lovely people, great breakfast and perfect location.

    Cons -

    • There was nothing that I actively disliked, but the room was a bit Spartan and dated (including the bed linens) so perhaps could use an update. But it was all clean and I appreciated that very much!
    • No A/C, Parking is not guaranteed (as it's on the street), and beverages for the room have to be paid in cash (can't be paid with card).
    • Not really a complaint for our group, but a consideration for others is the ladder to the second level in the room was narrow and a bit creaky, so it might not be ideal for young kids or anyone with mobility concerns

We had a great stay, mainly because it was so close to Europa Park—just a short 9 min walk away, which made our park visits super easy, even with a 4 year old. The hotel provided a permit for street parking, so we didn’t have to worry about time limits once we got checked in with the desk in person the morning after our arrival, which was outside check in hours. During our off-season visit, finding a street spot was no problem. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a wide variety of options that thrilled our daughter. Our room was spotless and featured two separate beds, which was perfect for us.The hosts were incredibly kind and made us feel very welcome. Overall, the combination of the convenient location, thoughtful amenities, and warm hospitality made our trip enjoyable

The location is great and although we didn’t partake, the breakfast selection looked like great value. It was also the most affordable in town at the time of our booking.

The hotel does not have dedicated parking, instead it gives instructions for parking on street or at the nearby bank, which is free of charge until 0800. That makes the free parking mentioned on the listing dubious. To give them credit, they did provide a free parking pass for Europa Park, as does many other hotels in town. The radiator heaters did not function the evening we arrived, but they were working when we woke up. I assume the whole hotel is set to activate the heat system at certain times, but that did not allow us to get the room to a desirable temperature at bedtime. The duvets are warm but a bit short for taller people (1.85m+ or 6’1). WiFi is available, but it disconnected frequently and had poor service when it was connected. Despite these things, the hotel filled our needs, which was a quick overnight stay and we would consider them again.

Very friendly owners, uncomplicated access out of working hours, parking ticket with Europa-Park included

The location is very good. The woman at the front desk was friendly. The beds were comfortable.

The wifi did not work very well at all in the rooms. You had to go outside the room toward the reception to get wifi. THis is a big turn-off. Also, they don't provide coffee. I was a bit surprised as coffee/tea are almost always included in hotels. We also paid a fair amount for the two rooms, so it wasn't bargain basement prices.

    Great location, clean

Would have liked tea and coffee facilities. Small rooms

The staff was super friendly. The breakfast is outstanding. The terrace outside is very nice and on a warm sunny day like we had it makes you feel like being in Italy. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Europa Park and there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy some good food in the evening.

Our room was a bit hot at night. I suppose this is because the facade is facing the sun the whole day.

Owner and the staff was very kind.CLose to Europapark.Room was clean

Stair in the room was vey narrow and steep,it was hard to get up and down.Beds were noisy

Simple but clean room for a family within an easy walk of Europapark. Breakfast was superb and the staff were very pleasant. We will definitely stay here again. We were able to find street parking within 100m of the hotel both nights. Weather wasn't great while we were there, so we didn't use any of the outdoor areas, but they looked like they would be very nice on a better day.

The stairs to the upper level (second bedroom) of our room was more like a ladder - very narrow, very steep. It was fine for bigger kids, but might be dangerous for younger kids or anyone with limited mobility.

The reception is only open in the mornings, so we were not able to check in in person (we spent the day at Europa-park and came to the hotel after we had finished for the day). But, the instructions for check-in were clear and we were able to let ourselves into the room without any problem. The breakfast was great.

The room felt quite quite cold when we arrived, so after a long day at Europa-park with heavy rain, we were wet and cold and needed to dry everything before our next day. Despite turning the radiators onto maximum, it was still on the cool side. But the hot water in the shower was plentiful and once tucked up in bed we were fine.

We liked the room and the breakfast was good and diverse, it was way better than the traditional continental breakfast. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We loved as well the location very close to the main entrance of Europapark and to many restaurants.

We didn't like the fact that you don't meet anybody when you arrive even if it in the middle of the afternoon. Otherwise the stairs to get to the second floor are steep and narrow, not ideal for little kids and strollers.

Great location in walking distance to Europa park. Nice breakfast and very friendly staff. Quite a nice place actually!Parking on site is possible with lift system (no high SUV, but regular cars and station wagons are fine). Great pizza place across the street as well.

Mattresses have seen a bit of traffic but were OK.

    Nothing good about the property.

The room felt like a dormitory. Actual size of the room is of 4 beds but they added one more bed to accommodate five people. The shower cabin was very small, very hard to fit in it. Size must be 40x40cm. Photos shown on Booking.com don't give a clear idea of the room. I had booked for 4 nights but left the hotel very next morning..

    8MariaPosted on: 5-29-2023

Room very functional, spotless clean and comfortable beds. Right in the centre of Rust, close to all the amenities and Europaparc. Excellent breakfast. Staff nice and helpful. Not parking on site for tall cars but they found a satisfactory solution.

Not suitable for people with mobility problems because it has a lot of stars and some are very steep. Also, not the hotel’s fault but there is a church nearby and, if you are a light sleeper, it can wake you up many times with the bells.

    7AlexPosted on: 4-17-2023

No parking for big cars! Otherwise it was great, the room and the breakfast and location excellent.

We stayed here to be able to walk to the park but we couldn’t so the 15 min drive due to heavy traffic was not ideal.

    10GaborPosted on: 3-28-2023

Great location, clean rooms, breakfast had plenty of options.

    7stefanPosted on: 11-2-2022

Good location and nice breakfast included. Friendly owner and staff.

While the hotel was in a good location, we couldn’t take advantage of it. We specifically booked this hotel so that we could park our car at the hotel and walk to the Europe Park. Turns out our suv was too big to park at the hotel and had to park at the Europa Park free of charge. We paid extra for the location so we could avoid the traffic in and out the park. Next time we’ll stay at a place with better parking, or further away for a cheaper room fee and just drive.Family room was nice but NOT ideal with small children. Its a two story room and the stairs are very dangerous for smaller kids.
