Pros +
- location, city center, walking distance to the beach ,restaurants and shops.
- Beakfast great
- The location, building, flower decorations, and food in the restaurant were all excellent. However, we were disappointed with the concierge’s recommendation of Le Drakkar — it did not meet expectations at all.
Cons -
- late check-in 3pm,it takes most of the day, noise -,screaming children running around a lobby area, hotel staff did not react to this situation. In the room was extra bed-left after previous people-looks like nobody knew about it.On the desk PENCIL ?
- Small room despite the very nice upgrade received, bathroom extremely basic - not even 3 star hotel. can't even hang towel on the door. No towel for hair.. very small space
- “Only the manager was well-trained and able to resolve the situation; the rest of the staff were like those at a 2-star motel during the check-in & checkout “ I’m english speaking client & they spoke with me in French. Was surprised what they charged 50€ for small dog without any notice.

The property is very well located . The bed is very cosy The staff is very friendly from the spa to reception and the conciergerie they are fantasticRoom service is very nice
We had room 103 which was very noisy because of the piano and that woke our son up BUT the staff was so friendly about it , apologetic very kind and very empathetic so literally cannot fault this place
The staff were exteemely polite and helpful at all times. The hotel is beautiful and in a very good location.
We could hear guests in room above stomping around!
Pretty good location, access to all shops and town if you like shopping all the brands are there. 5-10 minute walk from stunning beach, allowed on with pets at either end of day but not daytime.Breakfast was just amazing as far as breakfasts go, the choice just mega.
Quite pricey but we knew that going there so not going to gripe.Access to car had to be done by hotel staff accompanying you but this was never a problem for them
The wonderful ambience of the hotel, the delicious food in the restaurant (especially the breakfast!), the superb service and friendliness of the staff, the great location (close to the beach and to the town).
Only that it could be easier to book the kids club.
Really was amazing staff and the location perfect every thing close by also the beach wonderful the most things I loved is shopping ? and very kind staff all of them helpfully and smiling ?
Historical building and “old-school” vibe. Other than the parking problem staff was very nice.
Standard rooms are small and pretty shabby. On weekend there was parking problem and you had to look for a place to park yourself around the town, nearest we found was a long walk.
Great beach and town location. The hotel is a stunning building and feels like you are staying in a part of history. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
There were a number of issues with service. They got our bill wrong at the end asking for 50% of the payment again although we’d already paid. The room service was inconsistent and sometimes they didn’t complete the room at all.
Hôtel is a beautiful resort
Young staff useless . Don’t know right and left of the facility neither the casino area and shops 100 meters away
Nice room, very good breakfast and restaurant.
Stuff was really slow. We almost misted our train to Paris, because our luggage was still in the room when the taxi arrived. We asked for luggage 40 min before. Also one of our rooms was not ready at 15:00 as we pay for it. Another 15 min we spend to get the room. We took the transfer to Etretta and back in the hotel, it was 250 euro one way. So it was 500 euro total. But the driver took another 25€ for waiting us 15 min without any conversation, just gave us less change.
The service in the restaurant during was far less than acceptable. Staff almost didn't know what they were doing
Restaurant staff during dinner on 10th night was was the worst.
The location in the city center and the staff.
the room was quite small, not in line with the standards of 5 star hotel, the facilities (gym / swimming pool) not exceptional at all.
Room and view was awsome. Very friendly and professional staff. Amazing breakfast.
It's the second time I've faced an issue with the heated towel rail in Barrière Group hotels. I can’t say that I’m very disappointed, but it made my stay slightly less comfortable. Everything else was just great!
I can't get invoice from this hotel for 3rd month. How do we asked that up? They ignore all my messages. Please help and support
We loved the position of the hotel, virtually in town. We loved the architecture which was truly beautiful. The foyer was also beautiful as was the restaurant.
We were bitterly disappointed with the room. We paid over €450 per night and over €500 on the Friday night. I would expect something that would reflect that price. Instead we got a very average sized room with a unit/wardrobe that could have come from IKEA. It had sliding doors to give the impression of more place. The bathroom also had a sliding door. The bathrobes were 'tired' and were certainly in need of an upgrade as were the towels . We would not stay in this hotel again
The bad was so comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. The staff was helpful.
The area was too quiet for us, all the restaurants near by were very expensive.
Classy
Overhead shower mixer not quite right, too cold, but we didn’t say in fairness, hand held shower perfect temp
Beautiful authentic style. Excellent location. Distinctive ambiance with the spirit of the « belle époque » and neo-normand architecture. I think it is the best hotel in Deauville.
The room faced the open terrace in the yard and it was a bit noisy when guests were having breakfast and dinner.
