    Pros +

    • Hotel employee and location. Maid service was horrible. Fell in shower and bruised and hurt my shoulder as no shower mat. No mat because of covid but they managed to find one for second night. Always had to ask for shower cap. Not happy!!!!
    • Location is perfect Staff is very nice The beds are comfortable Rooms are very clean
    • The room was on the first floor and since the breakfast was on the same floor the corridor was smelly, which was quite unpleasant. The receptionist was so quick and pleasant to deal with, that woman greeted us very nicely. The room was not small and had a nice balcony. The bathroom was also nice and convenient.

    Cons -

    • 1st floor rooms are to erase. I had the room number 107 in which at 5am i couldn’t sleep because of the kitchen smell. That room is next to the kitchen where they prepare the breakfast. I think the breakfast room has to be in ground floor. To be in permanence in the smell of croissants etc it’s disgusting. Bathroom is very small
    • And the breakfast place was so small that it was very surprising for a 4 star hotel. The same was the lobby it was not suitable at all for a 4 star hotel.
    • Small rooms, no view, no acoustic isolation, you can hear the cars and the garbage trucks and the birds

Lovely location. Really comfortable room and bed, and the bathroom was nice and clean. We slept great. Dog friendly, although with a 15€ charge.

A very nice place to stay in the very center of Deauville. We’ve chosen a room with a garden view and it was very quiet and calm.

    Passable

1 Room in which I stayed.2 Room on Booking.La reception: the room does not resemble the room I booked. The three receptionists: yes, that's the room. Me: maybe you can find us another room. Well: we don't have rooms available. Me: or maybe something superior with the payment of the difference. Well: the hotel is full. I go up to the room, enter the booking and find the King suite available at a price difference of 300 euros. I go down to the reception. Other receptionist: there are no free rooms or suites. Not even starting tomorrow. If I booked in front of him on the booking I lost the money paid for the first reservation. If we move to another hotel, too. Anyway they had ruined my day, there was no point in getting damaged, so I stayed. However, I don't understand why they didn't want to rent the more expensive room.

A lovely greeting on arrival. Male receptionist was so helpful and friendly. Room was clean and had everything you needed.

    Great location. Very friendly staff.

Unfortunately my room was opposite the cleaners office and the lift. That door was opened and slammed (with also a creaking hinge) every five minutes during the day. Why have this opposite someone's room? The other issue was that despite using the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, and verbally requesting that we do not want the room cleaned every day, this would be ignored. They would also knock and come in straight away. Why don't you understand do not disturb means DO NOT DISTURB?

Very good hotel. Helpful staff. Nice rooms. Good location.

    breakfast in the room.

the room cleaning schedule was a bit erratic. This is a pet friendly hotel which meant I had to take an elevator with a great Dane; did not like that.

my registration with the receptionist, who wrote all of my bank card information on a piece of paper, therefore exposed to everyone despite my insistence on the lack of security when normally, it is enough to take the fingerprint of the card on a reader

    Fantastic location

    - there was no iron in the room- there were dirty socks left over from a previous booking- the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work- the bed was not a double but zipped together which could be felt in the bed- there was a plastic covering under the sheets-the windows didn’t close properly so very noisy

    7SonyaPosted on: 7-17-2023

    Room was quiet and clean.

Not enough towels. Bar never seemed open. Hard to get a cup of coffee.

Excellent room ; well equipped ; very clean and quiet ; would have benefit from air conditioning rather than a fan moving warm air. great location ; wonderful and helpful staff; excellent parking ( at a cost) decent breakfast facilities.

just the room being quite warm as there is no air conditioning other than a ceiling fan.

I really like everything about the Hotel: location, room itself, views from the room, friendly staff.

    8CampbellPosted on: 5-13-2023

We did not take breakfast in the hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The ensuite was an excellent size and the shower was exceptional. The bed was very comfortable and the surroundings and balcony very pleasant. Only small annoyance: The heater controls were confusing and insisted on switching on about 3am making the room warm and stuffy

location is ideal, breakfast overlooking the courtyard gardens very relaxing

had to use independent parking. Lounge/Bar area not warm/welcoming

Ended up in hospital due to hotel negligence and the management couldn’t care less

While trying to use the hotel’s car parking facilities I fell. The car park, so poorly lit, was impossible to navigate. Using my phone’s light to try find the exit gate I tripped on a curb and had to spend the night in the hospital, getting my dislocated shoulder and facial bruises seen to by doctors. The entirely unsafe conditions of the car park is shocking. On return from the hospital, there was no effort on the hotel’s part to express apologies for their shortcomings. Extremely shocking behaviour. You can expect to hear from our lawyers.

Staff were welcoming and guided us to their secure car park. Room absolutely beautiful, with garden view from the terrace. Central location, easy walk to restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to the beachfront.
