Hôtel de la Côte Fleurie

We stayed in three spots during our recent trip, and while all three were excellent, this was the best. Great central location, wonderful host/owner and his wife, very comfortable, clean room. Our stay in Deauville was a highlight of our trip to France.

This place if perfect. In some reviews I read complaints about paying for breakfast, but the meal was well worth the expense and went far beyond an ordinary breakfast.

Charming, cozy, traditional hotel located close to the center of Deauville. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was polite and kind.

Deauville is lovely. Central location. Host was polite.

On a busy road. Life started earlier in the morning than we wanted to wake. Rooms were ‘tired’ and basic, not good value for money.

Good location for an independent traveller who has to work at the same time.Restaurants and super market close by and 5 mins from the beach.

Nothing really. You have to plan where to park your car. There is no parking.If you park in Boulevard Mauger, it is a block behind the hotel and does not charge parking fees.The only other thing is there are a lot of stairs in the hotel but if this is a problem for you let the management know before and they will help you like they helped me.

Shower could do with updating

Clean tidy, close to shops, restaurants etc. Great breakfast, lovely host.

No lift, 2 flights of stairs to conquer. No shower gel or shampoo provided.

The location was fine (central to Deauville) and actually the view out our window was nice. There was a nice armoire that could accommodate a reasonable amount of personal items. Also the staff were extremely friendly and personable. They have a little dining area adjacent to reception that looked nice enough but we didn’t use it.

I am American and while I know European hotels are very different, I have traveled around Europe quite a bit but have never seen anything like this “room”. This was a glorified closet with hardly enough room for two people to get around each other. The shower was in a closet, the toilet was in another closet and the sink was next to the bed. It was very hot with no air so we couldn’t relax in the room after having walked around all day and we couldn’t leave the window open at night because of the mosquitos so sleeping was pretty much impossible. The carpet appeared to be very dirty as well.The staff were extremely nice but obviously there was nothing they could do to change the property itself. I’m so sorry to say this but it was probably the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. Maybe there are other better rooms here and we just ended up in the worst one.

The lady who greeted us was fantastic, could not have been nicer. Explained everything very well!

I did think that breakfast should be included with the stay. The room was okay, not what I expected. It is a little run down.

Charming small hotel with a romantic feel and a friendly female owner. Hotel and room were very clean and fresh. Room had a nice bathroom and a bit luxe interior. With a fridge and office table. Nice beds. The hotel smelled very fresh. Waking up with the sound of seagulls. Nice.

A bit too pricey, although it is one of the more affordable options.

Room was large and well appointed very clean and a excellent bed. Breakfast was of a good standard and nicely presented.Location easy to get to and parking nearby, a good variety of quality shops and a 10 min walk to sea front
