You Hotel Deauville - Handwritten Collection

Absolutely horrible

This was one of the worst “4 star” hotels I have ever stayed at. Upon arrival, we were asked if we wanted our rooms to be cleaned or not, like what 4 star hotel asks that? And when they cleaned it the other day, towels were not changed, there was no toilet paper refill, and the empty bottle of hand soap wasn’t refilled! Never have I ever experienced this lack of bathroom facilities at any kind of hotel!! The only thing the housekeeping did was make up the bed and steal my mother’s tweezer. The staff wasn’t very friendly to foreigners. In addition to all of that, the AC barely worked and was turned off each time we were out of the room. What a shame such accommodation is labeled as 4 stars, as it shouldn’t be labeled anything more than 3 stars.

Great location in Deauville! Very happy to find accommodations for a family of 4. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

I stayed in a shared room. The facilities were clean and the staff were kind. The location is also convenient, just a short walk from the station.

Room interior/design, good beds, possibility to open window, very clean.Friendly and helpful staff.Fine breakfast.

Very nice and creatively decorated rooms. The room and bathroom were sufficiently spacious, the bed was comfy. Located very conveniently in the city. Overall a positive experience

Very good location, modern, very comfortable bed, big tv, nice big bathroom

Little noisy from the street

Location was great, friendly on arrival. Night staff on Saturday were superb

Kettle in room

Excellent bathroom and the size of the room.

I wish there was a coffee machine in the room.

This is one of the best hostel dormitories I have staid at. Modern and clean equipment, big room.

Like in many other hostels there are no possibilities to hang up your clothes. Either you cramp them into your locker or you take them into your bed

Huge modern comfy room, superb location, fantastic value for money

The hotel is very clean, simple and modern. The staff were very friendly in accommodating our request and very close to the station!

The rooms had no character, it’s a sleep and leave type of vibe.

The location

It was very noisy, there were even car races at night, little help from staff, couldn’t open the windows, no toilet paper at arrival, and at the price we paid the comfort was everything but good.

Location was perfect. Room was okay.

The air conditioning didn’t function. The room was hot as hell. Breakfast was below average for a 4-Star restaurant. Room was very small for 3 people. Toilet was super big unnecessarily. The same space could have been provided to increase the size of the room.

Comfortable, clean rooms. Good location.

Customer service could be improved.

Good location

It’s not so clean in general, for example, I found a hair or barber on the unused towel.

Very smart, modern, urban.

Had to wait an hour after check in time because rooms weren't ready. Then I had to ask again. If you want a peaceful night sleep don't risk the shared rooms. I didn't sleep because a girl was coughing all night. The other room sharers insisted on having temperature up to 24degrees, too hot. If you don't mind sharing them it's okay.

Great hotel with a modern theme. It is well situated, not too far from the shops and beach Lovely big room with a comfortable bed. Also there is a gym, and some facilities such as table football. There are some fridges, and an area where you can eat your own food. The staff were very helpful, when I needed to print and scan some emails.

Some of our food was stolen from the fridge, but the hotel staff cannot be blamed for this irresponsible behaviour of fellow guests. I hope this does not happen often, the system relies on the honesty of guests to be good citizens.

The location next to the train station and close to the casino and beach were all great. There are lots of restaurants and things to do very close to the hotel.

I was not expecting the dormroom style (particularly not for over €100/night) but then this is Deauville and everything is overpriced. As it was, the sleeping unit was dark and relatively comfortable and the lockers provided were secure.

towels and toiletries providEd

i cant use the locker but it's safe

Very good

There was a lot missing from the room, there was no tissues, no water, no mini fridge, nothing of the main toiletries that you usually find in a hotel room. But the room was clean and the staff was nice.
