Pod N Beyond Smart Hotel

The thene of the hotel was pretty cool.

The hotel is operated by women, it felt good at first.. But all of them are incompetent.the checkout time is 12pm, I told them that i have an exam from 11am to 1pm, then i will come to the hotel, freshen up, have my lunch and then check out, they treacherously kept on saying if there is no booking then you can stay there for 2,3 hrs more, but after i came i came to the hotel after giving exam the lady in the reception SWEETLY told mr and my family to vacate the room and go to the top floor for having lunch (the top floor restaurant was under construction), while me and my aged parents we went to the top floor with luggage in our hand, the lady managing the restaurant told me to go down to the room as they would send the lunch there.. Also the tv was not working, the room look was not working so whenever we went outside they told us to keep our door open. And the worst part is there was no booking for the room, but still till the last minute the ladies kept on saying that if there js no booking for the room then they would let us stay for 2 extra hours, there were actually no booking for the room but in the disguise of this the wanted us to vacate the room.. Before checking out while havong lunch we had asked for morr rice, dal and sabzi which we were not provided... In short WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.. AND THE LADIES MANAGING THE HOTEL ARE TOTALLY INCOMPETENT ?

The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Loved the dorm style concept of the hotel. Super comfy beds! Plenty of charging points for your devices. The food was top notch! Delicious home cooked meals and tasty snacks. Great stay!

I didn't take breakfast but I take dinner which is North Indian thali of excellent taste. Staff was very kind and genuine personallity.

The room was exceptionally clean and spacious with all the facilities.? Staff behaviour was prompt and very friendly. Food was delicious home cooked meals. The location is a prime spot and easily accessible. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family stay. I enjoyed here a lot !✨

Location need to be prominent and also lighted up its own signed board at night. It's not a breakfast it's a scanty and time pass food...

Lift facilities very much required. Rooms size and orientation were so discomfort, very much unhealthy, toilet was also unhealthy against movement, roomlight were so insufficient, Stair steps also stuff, not as user friendly discomfortable for ageds'. Hotel entrance gate so small for movement...

I liked ? the facilities and cleaning maintained.

Many more things...1. After paying they've waited me few hours.2. They including charges for small things (Tea, coffee, etc) after paying more amounts. I really disappointed ? for that at least they included tea/coffee charges ? 3. Including some extra charges which isn't mentioned anywhere (inside app information) but I've payed. Etc...

Location is good and breakfast arrangements is awesome.

Very polite and well behaved staff. Value for money. Location was also good.

Very good hospitality, hotel staff are helping and kind. Neat and Clean rooms and decent privacy. Washrooms are well maintained. Food was fresh and good.

Facility of separate lockers, elevators and atleast a reminder of menu should be provided. Atleast day's menu should be written in the notice board if serving in thali system. Eatery was not present but the food was fresh and good, but yes little expensive if compare the charges with content in the plate.

Free breakfast was served. Quality wise not so good. Lunch and Dinner served not good restaurant quality.

Compactness of Room and stairs of hotel. Location was not good. Gentry was not comfortable. No washroom things available.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and the check-in process, although it took some time, was smooth and hassle-free. The highlight of our experience was receiving a room upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise after a long journey. The upgraded room was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Additionally, we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast provided; it was delicious. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this accommodation.

Did not clean room on a regular basis. The layout is old and requires upgradation. Asked for Money to be paid for a second glass of milk (this is in contrast to the other pod and beyond where there were unlimited servings as part of breakfast).

Good location and cleanliness

I booked a queen sized room. They give me a small one without attached bathroom. They didn’t even informed me about the room. After giving the payment they showed me the room. I’m utterly disappointed. I’ll think twice now before have a booking in Pod N Beyond.

The hotel is really a smart hotel in every way. Beautiful usage of all corners and intelligently decorated too. The staff are the BEST, I actually liked the lady in the counter as she was very helpful, also i want to give 5 stars to Ravi, he made sure that I have food according to my taste, which is very rare to find now a days. The experience was very memorable. Will surely stay whenever I am in Tatanagar??

Lift was not there but I had absolutely no problem. And yes a bit more cleaning should be done of the bathrooms, just wanted to add.

The room was not cleaned properly when we checked in but They were cleaned after we complained.

The behaviour of the staff is one of the highlights of staying here. They will make you feel very comfortable. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The food was tasty.
