The Sonnet Hotel

Location and staff

Rooms need renovation badly

Central location, Vey friendly and cooperative staff, spacious room, prompt room service, and good breakfast spread.

There could be more addition to the breakfast spread.

No, not much

I booked a more expensive room, the only natural light are from frost windows open towards aircon service enclosed area. The window is also a hazardous. Someday someone will fall from the window into the aircon service area. Very bad sewage odour in the building as well.

Great breakfast, Friendly Staff, Amazing Location, Spacious Rooms

Perfect

The staff was very good, polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet was really good. The location was also central and convenient for moving around. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Overall it was a pleasant stay

Renovation work was going on - so there was some sound due to that. But otherwise it was a really good experience.

spacious room

It was under construction. It was very loud during the day while I was trying to work. The ac was also very old and loud and did not cool the room well.

The breakfast was good. The staff were very nice and helpful. Location was good too.

The hotel room was not well-planned. It had no windows. One balcony was there but it was extremely dirty. The toilet was also cramped. The appliances were quite old.

Bad

They offered a bed on which my half of the body was out from bed, too costly food, and nobody is appologetic for the bad experience

The hotel is at a good location, the staffs are well behaved, room was neat and clean, infact very well maintained. The only part that needs improvement is the complimentary breakfast. I truly didnt like the spread and the taste of the food. It needs improvement. The stay was otherwise good.

The breakfast spread was way below the standard hotel.

Nothing much

Front desk staff and AC temperature during the night. It almost stops cooling. I don't know how. I have seen this here as this was my 3rd stay within 2 years

set menu is good. but lunch and dinner are same.

bathroom toiletries. room lighting.

Big room space with big wahsroom, comfortable bed, AC was nicely working (especially in Jamshedpur heat!)

Bed and cleanness . They consider some extra time in Hotel

My Room number was 310 . This room was small in size in compare with few other rooms my friends and colleagues stayed in the hotel.

Staff were polite & helping. Sourabh in reception always ready for help, i almost locked everytime my key due to my smart wallet. He was always there. Same goes to Shanti at restaurant, always there for food service, sincere & listening people very well.

Nothing as of now.One suggestion may be some basic stuff should be already need to placed in room like oral, personal hygene stuff. Although when asked they provide that.

Good Breakfast. Good food quality

Toilet flush button came out. Complained about this at reception while leaving in the morning on the first day; however on coming back in the evening found that it was not repaired. Again had to complain after a tiring day and had to wait till it got repaired.

Breakfast spread was good and we enjoyed alot. Suit rooms are very good & specious.

Executive Suits are these rooms are not mentioned on website. It will be easy if you mention the same on Booking.com

Breakfast was ok. Dinner was very good.

The property is showing signs of age. It needs a major upgrade.

The facilities staff checked in for room-cleaning etc. continually and that was good. They were courteous.

The food at Sonnet is not great. Very very limited breakfast menu and it is like some bed and breakfast place with similar menu being repeated at breakfast each day.I'd also like to mention a room-service staff called Souvik here who is especially loud and disturbing even though he sees that the guest is on work calls which is definitely not appreciated. On my last day there, while I had not called for room service he came to the room looking for his colleague. It is just not appropriate to have someone like him as a room-service staff. I'm hoping feedback is passed on to the staff and action is taken.

It was in the centre of Jamshedpur and found it very convenient even during Pandemic day. The food was excellent and the staffs were very well mannered. It has multiple restaurants.

Nothing very specific

Location, staff, cleanliness, food, price

The AC machine's noise
