Indo Hokke Hotel

The rooms of the hotel are really large and comfortable. Everything is very clean, there were slippers which were good, the toilets were really clean and the products were good.

Regarding restaurant the breakfast was good. The only complaint is regrading the food price as for instance one plate egg consists of two eggs is Rs. 200 which i found two much.

While we booked a king size room and a bigger room, the hotel couldn't accomodate both the rooms on same floor. However, they were kind enough to arrange an extra bed.

Helpful Reception Staff, Clean Room.plesant surroundings.There was even free snacks and drinks available in the room ...very handy after a long journey.

A tad too isolated..but this may not be s disadvantage ?

Such a nice hotel - with kind and attentive staff. We were made to feel very welcome and looked after during our stay. The room was big, clean and comfortable, with complementary water and little snacks as treats left each day. Hotel water was made available within moments, on request. There was a gorgeous meditation hall at the heart of the complex and big, green lawns outside. It felt very safe. They organised a good driver so we could explore the nearby Buddhist sites, they looked after our laundry at a good price and the restaurant prices were very reasonable, with good-quality food.

There were a few mosquitos in the dining room and the meditation space but this is India and that is very hard to avoid (especially in the meditation space, as it cannot be entirely closed off from outside).

I enjoyed the spacious hotel premises and intetesting architecture. The room was spacious with sturdy furniture, clean linen, tea, coffee n snacks included. View from room was nice. Breakfast also good, and dining hall is lovely.

The Restaurant staff were helpful and always pleasant.The rooms were comfortable and after an initial hitch when the ACs were non functional in the rooms allotted to us. We were moved to another lot of rooms.We had two very senior citizens in our travel party and the restaurant staff provided them with good room service.

The front desk staff was callous and very unhelpful.When the solitary lift went out of order on Saturday evening they said nothing could be done until Monday morning!!We had two very senior citizens marooned on the third floor and they had a nightmare getting to the ground floor.

The property is very nice but there are gaps in service levels.

The first morning we did not get breakfast even though it was included in the price. Some goof up at the hotel. Next day they apologised and served breakfast and gave a discount of Rs 277.

The air was clean here, but that was out of the hands of the proprietors. I did see a rat in the dining room. My room was reasonably clean. The whole place has seen much better days. It’s too bad, but it’s falling apart and has a cold,,sterile feel to it. That said, there is greenery and an effort at landscaping. There wasn’t the same level of care with the staff I had become used to at other high end hotels.

It’s really a reasonable place, but it’s getting a bit seedy. The staff is fine, just not outstanding.

All the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The room and the beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. As the toilet was separate from the bathroom, it was convenient for two people. Overall, it is a fabulous hotel and esthetically pleasing gardens. They have a variety of breakfast and dinner choices, which was nice and healthy. Restaurant has a fabulous choice of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We went with Family. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was conveniently located in a nice and clean neighborhood. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. There is a free parking in front, and lots of green and open space to walk around. Also, the restaurant was nice. It is quite close to a lot of major attractions in there.

Property is nice with well maintained green spaces. Rooms are spacious and clean. They have separate WC and bathing spaces which was a first for us.

The attitude of the staff needs to change drastically. Even though it is not a Govt. hotel, the feeling that we got was that they are doing us a favour.Room no. 313- the intercom telephone was not working and apparently could not be rectified. Tv was also not working.The staff showed unwillingness in meeting almost every request. Whether it was giving a tea sachet, or heating up the sambhar or giving fresh poories, the staff said NO the first time.

our driver complained the bed given to him in a hall in front of the main entrance was very dirty. He had to sleep inside near reception on sofa.

Very basic breakfast. Also, not much on the menu for the other meals or mid-day snacks. The hotel gardens are not maintained. The hotel is well located and convenient for moving around Rajgir.

The property is huge but lacking maintenance. Very basic amenities provided in the hotel. The facilities for the drivers is very inadequate. All the additional facilities were non-operational.

Excellent infrastructure and facilities. Very peaceful location. Rooms are a good value for money. Overall had a great experience.

Restaurant cost are high. Should provide mouth freshener after the meals. Keys are too big to carry. There was no provision to make double bed with back rest. That should be changed.
