Hotel Ruta de Europa

Great location for an overnight stop on the way to North Spain. It's next to the motorway but the noise didn't disturb us just dont expect a good view.Good value for money. Basic room but good services.The cafe/bar is excellent value and friendly staff. Come here for breakfast lunch dinner snacks tapas hot cold or bar drinks. We got fresh coffee here in the morning and took it to our rooms.Would definitely stay here again if on the same route.

It was just a short stay to sleep but the staff was excellent. Very friendly and parking was no issue at all.

It met my expectations fully

Easy access from the highway. Very friendly and easy check-in process. Very clean. Parking right in front of the room. Surprisingly quiet given the amount of people in the bar and restaurant.

Fabulous cafe,bar, cash and carry. A restaurant that looked great but we never ate there. We had a tyre blow out on the E80 near the hotel that was quite stressful and after being moved off the motorway by the police and having had breakdown repair the vehicle we could not have chosen a better place to spend the night!

Would not be in walking distance to anywhere vwry busy road!

This road side hotel is ideal for those heading down into Spain and Portugal or up into France. The bar and cafe are open all day and offer good food. There is also a restaruant open mid-day and evenings. There is plenty of parking and a well stocked shop for wine and Spanish food products. The staff are busy but also kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable offering Spanish TV and good WiFi connections.

Could do with two chairs in the rooms.

Safe parking without real safety as the main door is kept open giving access to anybody in a crowded area frequented by a diversity of people.

A very convenient hotel to use when travelling from France to Andalucia. A comfortable room which allowed us to get a good night's sleep during our long drive from UK back to our home in Douthern Spain.

Disappointed in the "menu del día" on this occasion. Expensive and nor as good quality as on the several occasions we've had it in the past.

The restaurant was great a set menu with fast friendly service. The bar very busy as this is a popular stop for people on a busy road. The choice of food and drink excellent with the added bonus of a range of wines or cured meats which could also be purchased to stock one's larder.

Slight noise from a busy road but this is a great place to stay on route.

The rooms were clean and comfortable

A certain man who worked behind the bar was very rude every time my partner asked him a question he just turned his back on us, and a lady in the restaurant was also very rude especially when I asked if she soke English she just gave us and English menu and when I went to ask a question she just put her hand up and walked away very very rude

If you are desperate with no where else to go , sleep in your car.

The parking marked as “extra included” on my booking.com reservation, was the public parking lot free to everyone, if you wanted the secure parking you have to pay an extra €10.There is No air conditioning, opening the window to cool the room means you listen to the traffic all night.

Hotel is good, everything you want you can have. Prices are good and everything is clean.

Breakfast is a coffee, fresh jus and a croissant. For a real breakfast not enough. Only reception is able to talk English. At the restaurant i ordered pasta and got a pasta soup…..and they pointed something out and gave me chicken with fries also. So language is a thing.

We were only looking for an overnight stop on the motorway and it was exactly that. Large restaurant bar area with a large selection of food. Local wines, meats and cheeses available to buy. Clean room with plenty of space. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. More than met expectations of a motel. Easy check in and pleasant staff.

It was basic and clean but as we expected and it more than met our needs as a one night stopover.

An excellent cafe at the hotel and local produce is also available.

The only negative and I've stayed at this hotel several times is doors to the rooms sound as if they are being slammed closed even in normal use. This echoes throughout the building, the annex is the worst of the two when people are coming and going throughout the night.

Bar staff were great , very friendly .Place was very clean.

The bedroom was tiny and really basic.The bed was a glorified single.

The staff at the reception is very very nice and helpful. There is a restaurant / cafe at hotel, where they serve food and bevarages of all sorts.

The hotel is 10-15 minutes away from Vitoria by car. If you need to go in and out daily, considert that the taxi will cost approx €20 per ride. The hotel room is somewhat old-fashioned, but it does what you need it for. The restaurant/cafe is very busy during the day, this somehow results in the floor always being covered in breadcrumbs and leftovers that the people drop.
