Very convenient for the ferry. Great staff. Clean was room. Staff advised that the rooms were due for an upgrade.

Our room was very hot on arrival but once the radiator was turned off and window opened it cooled down. We were pleased to find a fan to use.

Location in the area, convenient for my business purposes. Spacious room and large parking. Friendly staff. Good WiFi signal. Restaurant nearby.

The breakfast could be more various and the breakfast room looks to be not large enough, when a group of bus tourists is settled in.

Shower was not great as the water went everywhere in the bathroom

Staff politness, big clean rooms. They arranged all 3 rooms together for our big family.Fast and slow car charger options just outside of the hotel from Iberdrola.

Loads of Free parking outside the hotel, spotlessly clean, very good value for money, two minutes from the motorway.

Xenia on reception was really helpful with directions as where to eat and park.

I stay at this hotel three or four times a year and for the first time am going to rate is down from my normal 5* rating. Each time I stay there I rate it the maximum for everything with the exception of speed of check in which is consistently what lets it down. It's needlessly slow and frustrating even after booking ahead and being a frequent guest.

The speed of check in has always been the weakest area of this hotel and in this most recent stay is was dreadful. A number of guests at the reception, some had already checked in and had issues with their keys working. A few a had arrived. there was one member of staff at the desk who was doing his best but there needed to be more and whatever process he is required to follow...well it's slow every time when two of us check in but with several guests it was tedious taking us about 15mins from walking through the Lobby door to actually getting our keys. This does need to seem very Holiday Inn EXPRESS.It's for this reason it's marked down to 7 / 10. I think I've rated this Hotel around 10 times until now and it's always have 10/10 whilst I have always made a comment about the check in.please sort this out and then it's wonderful in every way.

Quiet location & plenty of reserved parking for hotel guests.

Pillows were awful, Far too big and hard

I found the breakfast very good the room was excellent very warm at all times extra large rooms the only problem not the hotel fault there is no evening meal the restaurant across the road is ok for beer and drinks but i did not like the food however it is always a personal preference I am very fussy

I agree with the man who uses the hotel for trips between ferry and Portugal, perfect position just off the motorway. Good value and very good cafeteria over the road.

Breakfast a bit basic but what do you expect for that price.

It was ideally placed for a stopover. Although the location was a bit barren, it was very close to an excellent bar/cafe, and to the main road South. Also breakfast was included

It fitted our requirements exactly. No gripes…..but the coffee was not great.

Convenient parking,large room and comfortable bed

Yet another stay here on the way to Portugal and good as ever. Great staff, clean and well equipped hotel and all at great value. parking on site is superb with a great Restaurant opposite. We'll continue to use this hotel a few times a year, highly recommended.

All was great

Parking and breakfast included. Comfy beds, large rooms, bathtub and really good staff. Breakfast selection was very good!

Breakfast OK but could do with better coffee and wider range of cooked items.
