This is a very comfortable small hotel in a great location close to the town centre with friendly and helpful reception staff and was excellent value for money

The location is fabulous.

Their parking was full, so we had to park outside on the street, but eventually we discovered that the city was super-safe.

It’s very run down. Tv was broken, shower handle didn’t work. Could hear the neighbors walking. Very narrow and not very clean.

I was told there was parking at the hotel. Not quite as expected - an underground garage across the road. It turned out that one needed to park in front of the hotel to pay for the room, PLUS garage parking which was an extra. Very inconvenient and furthermore the garage had so many pillars and was very full, so that it was difficult to park and when I was parked there was not enough space to get out of the car. I then had to get out of the garage and park in the street.

Tired decor, worn bed linen. Very poor breakfast with very limited choice ie no quassant just sliced bread.

An excellent location, the lodge was the perfect choice to stay during the annual Jazz festival. jazz memorabilia reigns supreme

We really liked the lady on reception who was helpful, friendly and very approachable. We thought the hotel was in an excellent location. Lovely white bedding which was wonderfully clean. Parking is very easy. Load outside the hotel, parking over the road at 15 euros per night.

Hotel dated. Carpet on landings is in need of urgent change or repair. We had elderly parents with us and it would have been very easy to trip where carpet is worn, especially the raised metal in between the double doors (entry into the hallway to get to our bedrooms). We thought this was a real safety issue. Bathrooms small and require urgent repairs and updating. Walls are paper thin and you can hear people moving around upstairs especially.

Pictures online do not aline with the reality. The private parking across the streer was very small. If you have a bigger car it is not possible to park there.

Didn’t try the breakfast, location is excellent for the old town. Secure parking is opposite. Staff friendly and helpful.

Couldn’t open the windows. Our friends room windows were high up so couldn’t see out and room was stuffy.-

Location was great, short walk to centre and restaurants.Dogs are made very welcome at the hotel.

Parking limited on road outside hotel and is meter payment. Secure underground parking for hotel available over the road but only a few spaces and costs €15 per night.

Very good location, good breakfast included in price. Price is really good. Staff was very nice and helpful.
