Summit Hotel Tacloban

Proximity to everything we needed. The staff is exceptionally kind and professional. The room is clean and all our amenities were replaced when needed.

The only thing that I guess could be improved is mopping and scrubbing the floor, especially under tables and dressers, a little bit more. I walked around, barefoot the first evening, and I realized how black my feet were. Maybe just a little more mopping

The staff is so very kind, pleasant, and accommodating. Very responsive to bring anything to the room that we needed in a quick fashion.

It was next to the mall. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Staying here was a breath of fresh air! It's the nicest hotel in Leyte. I felt like I was back in the United States - great air conditioning, hot water, friendly staff, fast wifi, etc.

The only thing close to this hotel is the mall. But, it is far away from most of the cultural things to do in Tacloban.

I like the hot water à lot of water pressure,bed was comfortable and room was spacious .plan to come back soon.

I was not able to take hot shower due to faucet was hard to turn to hot setting.

Convenient location at Robinsons Place Mall

This is the second reservation in the past few months where there were no towels in the room upon check in and the towels that were delivered to the room were old and fraying.There was spoiled food left in the refrigerator that stunk up the room for a long time when opening the refrigerator door. It was very putrid

Very clean. The staff was warm and welcoming. Great location!

I wasn’t there long enough to discover a dislike

We were able to relicate to a different room after bringing up concerns of mold and bad mildew odors

Upon entering the room, I mentioned that I smelled mold. The hotel attendants (2) that brought our luggage up claimed that they didn't smell any mold or mildew.Within the 1st hour of being in room 416, I found mold in the bathroom, on the ceiling, inside of the lamp shades, near the bedside, under the shelf beneath the T.V. The room needs to be placed out of order until these extreme health concerns are addressed.

The room was a lot bigger.

The room was not yet ready when we went to the room. The maintenance personnel was still fixing the door knob. Room didn’t have a towel and a bath mat ready in the room that we still have to call them. Bath Towels has hole in it. The room has too much moisture and there is that musky smell. Water was dripping from the vent ceiling to the table while we were eating on the lobby.

I like the friendliness of the staff and the location of the hotel.

I didn't like that the first night we were there, there were no towels at all. We had to ask for them. No washcloth either. They just simply don't include washcloth. There are no channels that you can watch on the television.

I like the front desk Staff. She made us feel so Good because of some discount ? but truly we had a rough travel out of nowhere the front desk staff was very Polite and gave us the best discount ?.

Just the location

The price should meet the expectations.Most of the travelers or tourist looks for a clean and most comfortable hotel to stay with and considered paying for a high price to get the best experience. I booked for 2rooms and one of the rooms that we got is really dirty and smells like mold. It triggered my allergies so I have to request to be move to a different room. Service wise, need to have more improvement on mostly everything.

Located next to Robinsons Place Tacloban Mall, offers airport transfer for additional charge, staff were pleasant and helpful

Would not allow early check-in even if room is ready without paying 50% room rate. Rooms are not clean and show much wear and tear with updating needed. Room was extremely noisy with doors slamming shut loudly constantly.

the expected facilities (pool , fitness gym, etc) was not actually in service. Algae bloom was very visible which looks like there was no maintenance had been done. Window has visible algae grow which tells that there no cleaning maintenance happened. The second room that i booked has water leak in the bathroom.

I like the good situation going to the sm mal , restaurants and parking lot

So many liking air-conditioning s but that's probably coz they are all to low.

Nice staff and great location. Good hotel and pool. Nice TV.

Internet didn't work 48 hours straight and maintenance couldn't fix the problem

Great staff. Room was nice and lots of space.

Over all food was good. Some of the hot dishes seemed over cooked
