Breakfast was good but coffee terrible. Staff were very helpful with taxi/limousine, motorbike rental, checkout, etc.

The restaurant and the roof top bar were expensive. Coffee was bad.

The breakfast was reasonable compared to other 3 Star hotels

Staff are very poor in languages and understand little about the hospitality business.

Location is the best, cross the street and you can swim.Close to street foods around, 5 minutes to local seafood market.

Generally good stay. We were allocated a room next to the exit stair - exactly where we wanted to. Staff was nice and the breakfast buffet was great. The rooftop pool was a bit small but my toddler really enjoyed it.

Areas for improvement: The sink in the bathroom emitted a weird smell but we stayed for only one night so didn't bother to ask for room change. Also TVs only show cable channels, no option for Youtube / Netflixe.

Great location on the foreshore with less than ten minute walk to the main food street. The rebuild of the park along the beach was still underway when we were there, but the parts that were open were impressive. If you are looking for a beach, this side of Vung Tai has a very long and wide sandy beach.The room was spacious and clean and provided bottled water.The buffet breakfast has an impressive array of local foods, though it is very busy in the morning.

The location of the Ibis Styles Hotel is excellent. It's right across from Bãi Sau beach on Thùy Vân Street. My room had a sea view and a balcony.The check-in and check-out processes were quick. However, I'm a bit concerned about how fast the check-out was — it only took a second, so I wonder how the staff checks the room after guests leave. I guess they don’t.Security is okay; the staff are very nice and hospitable.

Sorry – a few issues I have to point out:1. The room was very dirty, especially the bathroom. They had almost 4 hours to prepare the room before welcoming guests, but there was still someone’s hair on the floor!2. Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 11:00. I know many hotels of the same standard offer more reasonable check-in/check-out times like 14:00 or 15:00 for check-in and 12:00 for check-out. For families with small children, it’s not easy to manage time when they have to leave at 11:00 AM — you basically just finish breakfast, have a cup of coffee, and then you have to go.3. The smell – this really bothered me. The bathroom had a strong sewer-like odor. It was unbearable every time I stepped in.4. The soundproofing is not good. If there are kids on your floor, you’ll hear them clearly whenever they run, cry, or even talk.5. The breakfast – I have to use the word “nghèo nàn” to describe it. Very few dishes to choose from. My husband and I ended up going out to find breakfast elsewhere.6. The rooftop has a small swimming pool and a few chairs to lie on. However, the glass wall was so dirty that you can’t really enjoy the sea view. :(

This hotel has a more funky arcade feel due to its colour scheme and lobby entertainment. The rooms are spacious and beds come with thick puffy boasters and pillows. The only slight downside is the air conditioning - it was too cold for my preferences and I did not know how to fix it. Overall, definitely worth it when you stay in Vung Tau.
