Carmelina Beach Resort

Food choices for breakfast (Buffet) are excellent. Everything in the restaurant area is kept clean and tidy. Restaurant area is spacious with plenty of space and with sea view. Lunch/Dinner menu has a good combination of Asian and Western dishes.Spray-free herbs and veggies gardens that catering for the restaurant is a bonus. Gardens and fish ponds are kept clean and well maintained.Kids have many activities to choose from, say playgrounds, pools, rabbits, birds, chicken are around to play with.Salt water pool looking over the ocean is awesome. Location of the Resort is great for those people who seek a quiet and relax atmosphere.Last but not least, staff are very friendly and helpful. They made our stay very special by offering a cute little birthday cake for our son to our surprise. We highly appreciate that!

Rubbish and trash that are washed onshore aren't picked up regularly. Beach patrol/lifeguards of the Resort may help picking up the trash; OR a sign along the beach front may be put up saying something like “Every piece of litter removed helps protect marine life.”

We are regulars to this amazing resort. The service and attention to detail is second to none. The swimming pools, food, gardens, rabbits for the kids and everything else makes this resort personal and unique.

Beautiful stay at Carmelina. Very quiet in low season, great for a honeymoon or peaceful relaxing! Staff were attentive and helpful - they noted my vegetarian meals and regularly enquired if I needed anything else or if they could make anything differently. Room was clean and spacious with great amenities. Beach was clean and pools were beautiful!

It was a walk along a road (because the beach further up near the town was being fixed/construction for something) to a town for restaurants… lots were closed because it was very quiet low season.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The food was consistently excellent, with a wide variety of options to enjoy. The seafood, in particular, stood out—the lobsters and crabs were fresh and flavorful, with the Singapore Chilli Crab being an absolute highlight of our dining experience.Beyond the food, what truly made our stay memorable was the hospitality. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit.A special word of thanks goes to Matthew, who went above and beyond to take care of us. His thoughtfulness and dedication made a real difference, and we are grateful for the outstanding service he provided.Overall, this combination of great food, warm hospitality, and excellent service made our stay truly enjoyable. We would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The resort is located a bit far from Ho Chi Minh airport, but this was more than compensated by the hotel staff, who thoughtfully arranged transportation for us. Their attention to detail made the journey stress-free and set the tone for a very comfortable stay.

So many things to do for kids. We went during the holiday time so there were also extra games. All the staff members are so nice. It was our second stay here.

A little outdated but nothing to really complain about!

The resort is peefect for families. Lots of activities for kids and parents. The room was vlean and large. Very comfortable. Bathroom has a seperate shower and lotsof counter space. Balcony is large and comfortable. Staff were perfect and helpful. Very close to Ky Quan 2. Ngreat seafood Dislikes: The beach in the photos is not there. The are in the middle of reclaimation. The public beach next door is the typical trash collector. If you are looking for a clean beach this is not the place. The hot water in tge room is very touchy abd will go from cold to boiling very quickly. Buffet was basic but good.

Excellent resort with many activities for kids and the whole family. Nice clean room and very attentive staffs from all areas. Highly recommended!

The staff was super friendly all around and made us feel welcome. Especially Nguyễn Minh Tuấn of the staff was great to be around.The decorative plants were in an expectional condition, quality and quantity.

Very charming resort layout on the beach among beautifully kept grounds. Much better than it looks in the photos actually. Several pools, with one overlooking the ocean and with ocean water. Restaurant overlooking pool and ocean. Spacious rooms, good food for all meals and great staff. Beach was good. Lots of activities for kids in the pool playgrounds and indoor playground. Would definitely come back!

We had a few ants in the room who came if we had food out, but as soon as we cleared the food they went away by themselves.

We spent New Year's Eve at Carmelina Resort, and honestly, we had a fantastic time. The staff were always smiling and super friendly, greeting us every time we passed by, which really made us feel at home. :)The resort itself is beautiful, with so much green space around. We loved the saltwater pool, it was great to swim in every day and felt so healthy. The beach was lovely, too, even though the weather wasn’t super sunny. It was actually a nice break from the heat of HCMC, with the cooler air and breeze.The food was really tasty and priced reasonably, and the rooms were spotless, which we really appreciated. We can tell the team takes great care in making sure everything’s in top shape. ??We had a great experience and can’t wait to come back with our family next time. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

Great facilities, especially for children. Some parts are a little bit dated and in need of repair, e.g. outdoor playground. Good location (beachfront) and the grounds are well taken care of. Close proximity to newer (and better) hotels may be problematic to the hotel in the future. Staff is fantastic, will always try to accommodate every need although there is the occasional communication struggle.

Food is mostly disappointing, especially (unsurprisingly) the western-style food; whilst not so much an issue for myself, it definitely was for my children. It is also particularly expensive and, considering there are few alternatives in the area, this is disappointing. The rooms were mostly comfortable although the mattress was a little too firm.

Excellent staff and very helpful. We enjoyed the 3 pool areas as well. There was plenty of things to for kids. They hosted a movie night each day we were there. Visitors could view rabbits, paint ceramics for a fair price, play soft archery and even feed the fish. The property was gorgeous with a multitude of orchids, plants and water/ fish ponds. It was lovely to walk around at night too. Overall great fit for our family.

The beach was nice but the tide did not allow for a beach after about 9 am. I would suggest to bring food items for snacking as we didn’t find these types of foods on the property

Our recent stay at the hotel was pleasant, marked by its beautiful surroundings and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel's grounds are well-kept, offering a tranquil retreat. Staff members were attentive and kind, making us feel welcome throughout our visit.The hotel offers a variety of amenities that contributed to a comfortable stay. However, we suggest an improvement regarding access to drinking water. As tap water isn't drinkable and buying bottled water can be inconvenient, providing guests with easier access to fresh water would be a significant enhancement to their comfort and overall experience.

Breakfast options were great! The resort was very peaceful and we enjoyed the ponds throughout the property. This resort is very family oriented (for young children), but it is just a short taxi ride to bars and restaurants.

Disappointed that the staff at the spa spoke no English at all so it was very difficult to communicate.

Loved the hotel and its territory. My daughter had a blast at the playground as well as in the pools. Breakfast was very good - lots of options every day. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and had helped us a lot during the stay.

Probably we were not lucky with our choices but what we've ordered at the restaurant when we went for a dinner a couple of times was not to our expectation (seafood was overcooked to our liking). Hard to find a place to have a bite outside the resort.

Even though the staff were friendly the customer service/understanding and desire to help were significantly lacking. The staff needs a lot of hospitality training. The resort is clean and put together, however the design is very old.
