La Casa Hotel

My third time staying here as I love the decor and airy feel of the room. The young lady receptionist and the cleaning staff are lovely too.

This time sadly there was no hot water so I took a couple of cold showers. Also for some reason, this time, the water wouldn’t come out of the hose - only from the rain shower or the tap.Lastly, the wifi was really slow in the evenings.These things made my stay less comfortable.

Great hotel in great location, excellent value for money. Staff were great and very helpful. Room was clean amd spacious, shower pressure (hot/cold) very good. Bed and pillows and linens clean and comfy. Wifi excellent. Pool is small but clean and great to cool off in. Air-conditioning worked a treat. Smart TV so you can log in to your own apps otherwise have to watch VN TV, but then who has time to watch TV when in Vung Tau. Close enough to all the great Western Pubs with cold beer and great food, especially the Twisted Throttle Tavern. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

They gave me a free upgrade! It was clean comfortable and the staff are sweet, the water in this room got nice and hot too, and she let me check out an hour later without any extra charge.

Not going back again

Aircon doesnt blow cold air. Sweating the whole stay. Try to charge us extra for dirty bedsheet during check out but only did room service to clean room once and we were there for 3 days.

I love how clean it was. Very airy and aesthetically pleasing room with natural light. The smart tv to netflix and chill. The bed was comfortable, place to park my bike, the staff are lovely. The area is quiet and peaceful.

The blankets were quite thick so even with AC on I was really sweaty. And the water doesn’t get warm.

Pool was smaller than expected

I had so much pleasure staying in this hotel. I had free upgrade, the room was amazing. The main feature was the bathroom. Everything was perfect: clean room, comfortable bed, the receptionist is very nice girl. We also had fun on the rooftop where the pool is located. The view from the pool is beautiful.

Room is quite small

Great location between front and back beach.Quiet area. There was a karaoke thing going on in a place down the road, but it stopped at ten. Only heard this on one night.The pool on the roof was great. Small, but perfect for a post walk dip or pre breakfast.Really glad I booked this place.I had the double room wth balcony on the 3rd floor, overlooking the little lake opposite.

Clean,comfortable situated within easy walking distance to all amenities, lovely staff at reception.Great value for the price.

Could have done with proper mugs in the room for tea and coffee, hotel could only provide us with glasses.

Very clean and the front desk staff were helpful when needed.

Would have been better if there was somewhere to sit by the pool but that was not possible due to the small space. Otherwise no gripes.

Small hotel, pretty decor, bright rooms, overlooking a nice green area, quiet but close to both local and expat restaurants, a short distance from the sea. Small but clean swimming pool on rooftop. Staff are friendly and polite.

One of the best hotels I've been to in Vietnam. Great price/performance ratio. Clean, smaller hotel in a good location. Offers scooter rental.

I had to ask twice before I got 2 extra towels for my room.But that's a small thing.

Great central location for first few days in Vung Tau. I walked tonthe front beach and back beach areas and decided I preferred front beach. It us my understanding Back beach is currently being reclaimed and redeveloped. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I had mosquitoes at night because there are no screens on the windows and we are right next to a lake. Also, I know this is typical of Vietnam, but take 30 minutes and clean up the trash across the road! It distracts from the Lakeview!

The rooms were comfortable but the staff was amazing.

You can hear other rooms at times but not enough to make it a bad experience. They had no snacks available for purchase but places a short walk away
