Clear Essence California Spa & Wellness Resort

The location was amazing and the outdoors were very serene.

Bathroom was dated, Breakfast was the most limited i've experienced in years.

The location was perfect for me and the staff were excellent

The black mould around the bath and tap area. Looks dated.

not worth it

Old and nothing like a wellness spa. So expensive for what it is worth. There was no breakfast in when we went down, room amenities didn't work, and it felt like an average corporate room.

Not International Travellers

- Couldn't pay online through bookings.com.- Struggle to make payments with International cards- Expect to pay a different hotel rate from what you see on bookings.com- Air conditioning did not work - had to change rooms- Stained bathroom and tired looking towels- Subpar lukewarm/cold breakfast buffet

Location and price

The food and wait to be put in a room

Well located and very clean, peaceful and relaxing boutique hotel.

What a great stay at this fantastic property. From start to finish, the team at Clear Essence welcomed me in with the highest standards of hospitality.I enjoyed the attentive service, the serene environment, the friendly staff, and the hard-working housekeepers and security.I would definitely recommend this property to others and would be delighted to return to them in the future.

Breakfast was good.

Dinner could have been better. I felt the food variety could have been a bit more, and a bit more attention to detail for a wellness spa

Location, communal areas

Bathroom, water pressure was low.Took over an hour to get through to room service, then was told no chicken available for a club sandwich

Jennifer is like the best staff there . She was the one that made me stay

The breakfast was poor. The display looked awful. The vicinity( hotel) looks poorly maintained. They need an overhaul. I literally lodged there because I went to the spa about 2 years ago and I thought it will be same good ambience with the hotel but the hotel was the opposite of the spa.The ac vents were not clean( not serviced) . I literally started having cold . It didn't feel like hotel. It looks more like a motel we watch in movies. I find it hard to stay in the room , I had go out instead of resting and I selected not refundable . I regretted every bit of it

Breakfast was included in price but felt like I needed to jump hoops to get it

Bathroom needs updating .

The location and the cleanliness

Didn't have a hot shower

I loved the ambience. The staff were exceptionally courteous and ready to help. The facility is serene and it has a wonderful smell. I will surely visit again.

The array of food for breakfast was too limited.

The serenity and limited guests stay.

Takes a lot to get there especially during rush hour and the power kept going off/on. This is not great for appliances etc.

There was a wide variety to choose from-Buffet style. All meals were tasty. A mix of local and continental spread. The restaurant staff were also helpful when the need arose.

Room service time-lag to retrieve plates

The locating and the serene environment very friendly staff and good food

The need to work on the toilets.

Exceptionally clean and serene environment. Great staff and customer service. Great meals also.

Almost all round good

Breakfast was okay. The location was perfect. The staff were very polite and professional.

The air condition was leaking water and it was not pleasant.

Location ✅ Design ✅ Professionalism ✅ Meals ✅ I enjoyed the staff courtesy and Professionalism. Also the neatness and serenity of the hotel. The hotel is cozy and there is a peace of mind that came with being inside.

The cutlery provided for meals

I liked the ambience of the resort.Staff was friendly, helpful and welcomingRoom was spacious and very comfortableInternet was goodReally good amenities in the room

Maintenance of the facility (Wall paint etc).Water wasn't clean. Difficult to use the jacuzzi as water stained the tub.Breakfast could be better.
