Very good hotel, excellent, friendly staff, great food, terrible location.

Location. Food. Cleanliness.

I didn’t have WiFi in 301 the entire month I was there. The water wasn’t hot at all. I explained that to the staff and nothing was done about it. This didn’t happen last visit so I didn’t know why it was like this for 28 days.

Service, security, 24/7 access to food

Balcony doors aren’t sealed well to prevent hearing all the noise in the outside from the street, the generators noise, and it’s keeping the room from being cooled late at night.

They couldn't offer me just Meat, they said I must buy food.

The buffet was really nice, very good staff and cosy suite.

When the lift was under maintenance, but the staff later showed me an atlernative elevator.

The staff were not always on the same page giving confusing instructions but all staff were nice and tended to my needs quickly!

I liked the spacious deluxe room. The bed is very comfortable. There's a nice desk and mirror, and a large wardrobe for storing clothes.The bathroom is nice, too. And the room was very clean.I also like the sitting area, refrigerator, and nice big windows to let in natural light. And the mood lights in the ceiling. I also liked the pool and restaurant. The food is good, and the service is good too.

There was a mix-up about my reservation when I arrived to check in at 12:00 PM. on April 19. My reservation was for the Watercress Hotel and Events. The person at the front desk couldn't find my reservation, even though I showed him the confirmation number on Booking.com. He sent me to the Signature Hotel next door.I waited an hour or more before they checked me into that hotel. I wasn't happy with the room they gave me because it wasn't the room I booked. I called reception and spoke to the manager to let him know. He then had someone come and move me to the room I booked in the hotel that I booked.It was very chaotic that day because there were lots of weddings taking place. However, that was no excuse. I felt the hotel was overbooked, and he was trying to blow me off. I shouldn't have to make demands to get the room that I booked.

The Watercress Hotel was conveniently located close to the airport ?. My room was spacious and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. I particularly liked the mood lighting in the ceiling. The breakfast buffet was adequate. They also have an extensive menu in their restaurant with lots of good choices.The staff is also very friendly.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view. The meals were exceptional, very tasty and diverse. The staff is very friendly and efficient.

The staff at the front office are amazing especially Agnes. She made checking in and payment handling seamless. The breakfast is excellent with many traditional food options. The security at the gate are great guys.

Lack of segregation of the event functions from the hotel. The restaurant and pool side got crowded on Saturday night. The room need soundproof as the noise from the nearby church on Sunday was annoying

It was well I’ll be returning

I didn’t like how you guys always ran out of food in the middle of the evening. Especially side dishes, like plantain. Why is it that I can go across the street and get plantain immediately but a building that’s charging us by the day and has 24/7 kitchen and knows that they have to serve plantain with every meal can’t order double the amount of plantain that they know they’ll need. I’d give you guys a higher rating if you would take into consideration the amount of food that you guys are going to serve and actually buy that amount or even more.

The staff were friendly, breakfast was good, the location is close to Ikeja mall and other malls arounds, clean rooms and bathrooms. I will definitely return anytime I come around

Disappointing

I was a victim of a scam at this hotel. During my stay in Nigeria, the only people who had access to my credit card information were the staff at reception when I paid in advance for my stay. Unfortunately, soon after, I discovered unauthorized transactions on my card. I strongly advise caution when handling payments at this hotel.

The location is close to the Airport, the view from the top floor was amazing especially at night, lovely ambience and the complimentary breakfast included a decent selection of food.

The white beddings looks old and did not smell fresh. The headboard was dirty.

Good breakfast but limited choices of main dishes

My bath room flooded each time I took shower and it took several request to dry the floor and provide clean towels.

Location, clean, live music was great

The hotel should explicitly state the hours of availability for the free airport shuttle. It’s not available at 5am. Also, music in the hallway overnight (not the live music, which was lovely and ended at 10pm sharp) was disruptive to my sleep.

one of my towels was dirty, the carpet was making fluff,
