Protea Hotel Lagos Kuramo Waters

Friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent WiFi.

The smell. This is an issue with most hotels near water in Lagos I think. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't sleep... but it was annoying still.

It’s a central location in VI, easily accessible. The place is very secure.

Breakfast was cold, there were flies in the room, tea cups was dirty.The room was dirty and very poor standard, wall gecto found dead in the toilet, water was leaking then shower went off when I was in the shower.For the amount of money I paid this hotel is horrible and not worth staying at.

The staff are excellent - they really take great care of you. The reception staff, concierges, kitchen staff, cleaning staff, security - all great people. In particular, shout out to my main guy Jamal who welcomed me, made sure all my needs were met and made me feel comfortable.Location is great. Can walk to beach, though not the nicest walk. Also overlooks Kuramo waters.

Breakfast buffet isn’t the best but they do cook eggs fresh

The staff are nice, and the location is good if you have meetings or work at Landmark conference center

Neighborhood is rough and dirty and there was construction...But I guess that's everywhere in Lagos

The gym needs to be at the standard of the price and with variety of machines.Restaurant should offer flexibility. I had spicy fried rice which was too spicy for me but the kitchen was not flexible to let me have something else or re-do the order.

I love the fact the property was close to the beach although I thought it had an access to the beach. The staff were helpful and nice.

I did not understand why the food menu was expensive down to a bottle of water. The complimentary breakfast was only for 1 person after paying for a high amount for the rooms and paying for an extra person for the breakfast was so expensive.

The Clean environment.

The hotel charged my credit card twice for the lodging. They promised to transfer to my bank account. But 4day afterwards I still to get the refund.

The room and terrace was nice

The breakfast is really poor. No fresh squeezed juice. No fresh brewed coffee. Old food. Old fruits.

The space in the room and workstation. The Quality of the beddings and toilet facilities

The TV isn't smart. Just small bottle water provided for the night for 2 guests

Love the quiet location and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The piano player is amazing and the poolside bar has a good ambience. A good location if you want to quiet getaway in Lagos.

Diplomatic rooms were far off from your description, beds were very small, shower stall extremely narrow, had to upgrade to a superior room.

Serene water front property. It was always quiet and clean. The pool was also a delight also. The staff were always cheerful and eager to help from housekeeping front desk.
