Sheraton Lagos Hotel

It's pretty expensive enough to say breakfast is not included. Moreover, I didn't see it that the booking doesn't include breakfast.Please distinguish more significantly next time

Good fare, and fair service

Great hotel, location easily accessible, great garden with restaurant and bar - Swimming pool clean and easy to access but not to public. Overall, Sheraton as always upholds a high standard.

I asked the staff to change my email ID so I gained my points on my Marriot account, never received my points

Sumptuous breakfast

Staff are really nice. Faith at reception was polite n even gave me an upgrade for me being the first time there. Her service was top. Like the beds and pillows comfortability.

I think it need a little refurbishing

Location and safety

The food was great .but the bathroom standard was 3star standard and not a five star standard and the toilet need to be changed and if the bathroom can be renovated would be perfect.

The gym.The pool.The room size and charming decor. The friendly staff. The proximity to the airport. The lobby vibe.

The breakfast was good

The fact that I couldn’t get discounts when I checked in at around 1:00 am on the 18.12.24 and checked out at around 05:00am 18.12.24.

The club lounge

The rug was filthy, the pillows were old. The room was priced 50% above similar hotels.I stayed because of a good experience 3years ago.

Expensive stay in an antiquated museum

A step back in time. Old hotel that needs to be renovated, you could smell the carpets the moment you walk in. The rooms will give you dust allergy, again, the carpets need to be replaced. Spend more and stay at a newer hotel. Also, long wait time at the reception, I arrived at 5 pm and they still wont let me check in as this, the receptionist said that my room was not ready, the same happened to my colleagues, after 5pm for a reserved room, no excuse for it not being ready. The food is overpriced for the service and the quality of service. I will not be returning to the Sheraton. Maybe at one point in history this was a good place, but now, it needs to be rebuild.

Decent facilities

The security (especially at the elevators) need a reorientation in how to treat the guests of guests. Also ALL the security personal at the facility should desist from soliciting for cash gifts from guests

When you got off the elevator,, the first thing that hit you was a foul odor like mold. It was a constant odor that was also in the bedrooms.

Some staff. Pool. Beds

Overcharged without being transparent. Blamed government taxes on over charging. Didn’t offer any form of apology. Just blamed “the system”. Management took no effort to help. So added on $150 to price shown on booking.com and said it was taxes. Then insisted on charging on top for breakfast

We didn’t stay as they were trying to steal money from us

Booking.com price was $490 On arrival the hotel wanted to charge us $630 They wouldn’t move on this. They blamed booking.comm

The outside bar

Bathroom/ shower stall are in bad need of repair, maintenance and definitely an upgrade. Carpets in hallway and rooms to be replaced and removed immediately.

The water pressure was great in the shower. They left plenty of bottled water in the room for drinking and to safety brush my teeth.

I arrived at 8.30pm and was asked to wait 30mins while they made up a room. This is despite check-in opening at 3pm. At nearly 10pm I had to demand I was given a key as I was nearly asleep in the lobby.

Staff was very friendly; lovely pool area with amazing trees

The interior is quite dated; musty smell in rooms

Big hotel near the airport

Everything is very old. Long registration, lot of personal but room is dirty and nobody check the room before guest. The price is too high for this quality. The air-conditioning temperature is not regulated (only hold or nothing). In the shower room some of the nessesery parts are missing.

Breakfast is good spa is missing.

Spa is missing in house guest entertainment is missing to engage them well

We were told the amount we booked for was for 2 rooms, not 3 as advertised. We had to pay extra to secure another room. Please make sure you set a realistic amount with your quotations. We were not happy about this.
