Nordic Hotel Lagos

I was turned away at reception, my reservation denied and my booking slip totol

My go to accommodation for Lagos , always a pleasant stay , food excellent, beer cold and staff always on top form

Location, the bar guy was giving us hard time when we asked for ice, considering there’s no ice machine in the facility, so that was a little weird.

Excellent personnel, very good breakfast, really nice room and bathroom. Great location and pleasing environment. I appreciate the watre, drinks and snack in the room.

The bathroom floor drain appear partially blocked or so, water was not draining out well. Stiff bath wash dispenser, had to call for help

I really enjoyed my stay at Nordic. It was worth every penny, and the staff provided excellent service. The pool area was the cherry on top.

The bar currently has no cider options, which would make a lovely addition. If it’s not something locals prefer, it could still be offered in December, when many international visitors come to Nigeria.

Nordic atmosphere clean; but spartan… no frills. This is not a place for families. Ideal for couples.

Limited food selection at breakfast; limited seating area inside the hotel away from the eating areas.

Great location to Restaurants and lounges for night life. Breakfast options were improved from 2023 which is great. I like how the cleaning service wipes the floor in the rooms, you don’t find that at most hotels.

The staff service was abut disappointing compared to my last stay. The person checking me on didn’t seem pleasant and discussed the cost of my booking infront of other guests. I would have preferred if they were asked to step aside sooner. I needed help changing niara onto smaller bills, but no staff was able to help or point me in the right direction. This is a downgrade compared to my experience stay in 2023. If the price is going to increase dramatically, the services offered need to be exceptional.

Front office staff were great.

Back office offered shocking customer service. I had an issue that I wanted fixing with my rates. Not one person in charge made the effort to come and speak to me on the subject. I thought this was highly unprofessional and a shame because as I said the front office staff were great.

Location, simplicity of room & cleanliness

It’s very basic and practical. More a business hotel than a leisure hotel .

Great location, amazing breakfast, comfortable safe room.

The staff were slow to respond to things, no sense of urgency. My bathroom shower was broken and leaking and I asked multiple times for them to fix it. It wasn’t until I was finally about to check out and it flooded the room that the finally came to fix it.

The room was cozy, beautiful, and very comfortable. It was quiet and serene

Beautiful serene pool area, comfortable bed, very clean, delicious food and top notch service.

No full length mirror in the room and no closet.

This was my second stay at this hotel, my husband and I came to the city to visit family.The staff were courteous, professional and very helpful. The room and bathroom was clean. You have to remember to put the sign on the door to get housekeeping daily. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the options were many, even for a pickier eater as myself.

A room with a nice view would have been preferable. The power cuts are not in their control but it can be scary when it goes out while in the elevator

No value for money

Rooms are too small and there is no sound proof between the rooms The bed is not comfortable Furniture is very cheapNo value for money its maximum 30$ per night

I like it was Nordic. I wanted to try this location out and Guage it compared to the Abuja location. The guys at the bar were great, and so was Dorcas, who waited on me during breakfast. She was amazing.The security teams were great as well.

The staff at the checkout sometimes seem to be too engaged with each other, then paying attention to the guests coming or leaving.

It’s very clean and the breakfast was amazing.

The room is too basic and not enough space for luggage

No complaints about this hotel. Great location, food and staff. It was also very clean and well maintained
