Loved the customer service. Everyone from the security at the gate to the front desk receptionist were extremely helpful, polite and fast at responding to requests. The room itself was boho, but modern, especially for the price. I liked that each room had a different name to it as well. The property is also connected to Ebony Group, so there were a few restaurants in the building next door that we had access to along with a movie theater and more. Overall a 10/10 experience for the price! My husband and I enjoyed our stay here :).

Only receiving 1 towel for 1 person to shower and only free breakfast for 1 person when I did the booking for 2.

Friendly staff. They have amazing customer service. Prompt response. Their restaurant food is delicious. There is a nice cinema onsite.

The breakfast buffet is a tad limited.

The receptionist and staff at the restaurant are very professional and consistently provide a warm welcome. The hotel's location offers a very close proximity to the event I attended in Lagos. The food at the restaurant is good and tastes like homemade food. I enjoyed the two meals I had at the hotel, while my wife had similar feelings about the food.

Parking was a significant challenge. The space is too small to accommodate the guests. The room is small and should have been advertised as a standard room, not as a deluxe. The swimming pool is located in a separate building from the hotel, hence I canceled my plan to swim.Generally, I believe the rooms are overpriced as similar properties within the VI are offered at 60% of the price.

Never stayed at the facility. Texted management to make them aware we were in heavy trafffic but were in route. Told by front desk they had no reservation for us after I gave her the confirmation number. She stated there were no rooms available and that when I made the reservation they were already fully booked. We had already been traveling for two hours to reach the hotel! Hotel then made reservations for us at another hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the other hotel. Will never book at this hotel again!

Excellent staff - professional, courteous and helpful. Refreshing to see staff who appeared to enjoy their job and not in a solicitous manner.Service - quick check in and check out; delicious welcome drink (fresh ginger and pineapple juice).Location - safe and close to everything I needed.Facilities - intimate, clean, well maintained, felt like home. Large showers. Beautiful, classy decor.Supplies - free cookies, bottles of water and soft drinks were provided in the room, rather than gauging guests. Also, all the basics a traveller needs including slippers, toothbrush etc were provided in the bathroom.Buffet breakfast - optimal choices of delicious meals. Good mix of local and continental dishes.

Buffet breakfast - water is not provided at breakfast. Strange given that water and soft drinks are provided in the room for free. Also, the beans porridge and bacon were only half cooked on Friday, Oct 10. No big deal given breakfast was delicious on all the other mornings.Shower - grout lines are molding and need to be deep cleaned with bleach.

Excellent hotel with a staff that is very polite and helpful. Security is good. The restaurants and bars are all wonderful. As a solo American who has extensively around Africa, I highly recommend the White Orchid Hotel.

Great location with an exquisite traditional aesthetic thoughtfully placed around the room. Outstanding customer service and prompt responses to requests. Hygiene kits provided were thoughtful too. The staff were exceptionally helpful and professional.

The hotel would benefit from routine maintenance, such as fixing AC units that drip water and repairing or replacing damaged door knobs and improving general cleaning. Breakfast options could also be improved for greater variety and quality.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.I was bribed by some corrupt "migration officer". While not crossing any border, I needed to show my visa. I had left that at the hotel. Long story short: I called the hotel, gave the code of the safe and explained where they could find our visa. The staff took a picture of it and sent it to me. This saved me from the bribe.There was also a lot of money and other stuff in the safe. The personnel of the White Orchid didn't touch anything. They were so correct and helpful. I want to give a big shoutout to everybody in this hotel.If I ever go back to Lagos, I will stay there again. Our sta was just perfect.

The breakfast was all teh time the same and we needed to go to another building for the pool. A very nice pool though with great pizza service.

Beautifully designed, clean rooms and a warm welcome team set the tone for an excellent stay. The fresh fruit platter on arrival was a lovely touch. The on-compound EbonyLife was a delightful add on - offering a variety of eateries & leisure spaces, including a cinema - all conveniently located just steps away. Service throughout was outstanding. I'd especially like to commend Gift, whose professionalism stood out both during guest onboarding and when resolving a reservation issue - exceptionally well handled. Her work ethic is truly exemplary. Highly recommended.

The cinema does not offer 3D or IMAX experience, so certain movie genres may not be fully optimized. However, the cozy and comfortable theatre halls go a long way in making up for the standard 2D viewing experience.

The back splash in all the rooms, the decor was everything!

On our last day it was an explosion in our bathroom… the Rain caused some problems. But the resort was very charismatics to my needs, and they took care of us… That experience could’ve been very bad and went left, but it didn’t in the host was very apologetic and very helpful.

The breakfast was delicious. Different options every morning. I liked that the hotel was calm and quiet away from the busyness of Lagos. There was an issue when checking in but Blessing was so helpful and sorted it out in a timely manner. One of the staff gifted our son a teddy bear which was lovely.Would definitely stay here again Great location

The rooms are tastefully decorated and quite modern and the location is great with access to several facilities like a cinema.

My booking was repeatedly mixed up.

The customer service was exceptional ?. The breakfast buffet was very good with many good options. The location was very good with lots of restaurants nearby in Ebony Place.And the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool and deck area were very nice.

I didn't like the time I ordered a glass of Merlot wine from the Turkina restaurant, and the waiter told me it was not available. He asked if I wanted Cabernet Savginnon instead. I said yes. I didn't know until I got the bill that the Cabernet was N19,000, compared to N9500 for the Merlot. I should have been informed of the price difference before I ordered.I mentioned that to the waiter. He later apologized.

Its a wonderful place to chill from the buzzling of the Lagos streets and enjoy an extraordinary service. ALL service personnel did a wonderful job that I felt at home and didnt have to worry about anything. As my room was already booked at they just upgraded my room and it was just fantastic ???

Difficult to really call out but maybe the pizza I ordered was not really Italian style but hey, thats all I can say …

The internet connection was insufficient for purposes of working online. Good enough for social media, but even then with numerous cuts in the connection.

Elegant hotel with friendly staff. Loved the aesthetics in the rooms and the dining experience at the restaurants onsite was also really great.The staff were extremely professional and went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay in Lagos.
