Tusita Wellness Resort Chumphon

Before reading this review, I would like to note that we arrived when it was already dark and during the monsoon season and sadly didn't partake in the amenities whic,h when daylight came was a real shame. So my experience may be different then others. The staff were wonderful and the room we stayed in was situated in a quiet area. I honestly think because we were their during the off season we were pretty much alone at the resort. The place itself was a jungle paradise w/ an amazing looking pool that I still regret not swimming in. I got the complimentary breakfast which was DELICIOUS and honestly my second regret from the trip is that I din't take a picture of the menu so I could remember the name of the dish I ate. You have a choice of 4 different types of breakfast I went with the resort signature breakfast w/ traditional thai breakfast options. When discussing the room I would say the wifi was great and the shower was wonderful as well! The only bad note I have were the beds.

The beds were extremely firm which may work for some but did not work for my sister and myself. That is honestly my only complaint is I wish they had chosen different mattress options as it felt like I was lying on a firm cement slab.

This is a magic place, with beautiful grounds, an excllent swimming pool, and a very well maintained garden environment. The rooms too are very appealing and have good views of the surroundings. All was very quiet and peaceful and there were no tour groups during our stay. Front desk and breakfast room staff are very accomodating and have good English. Breakfast was just fine. We did not eat dinner in the restaurant but there is an excellent and welcoming Thai restaurant 200 metres away on the beach. Don't hesitate!

The very big down side - as mentioned in many other reviews - is the outdated and noisy airconditioning. Either it is not being properly maintained or it is simply just old and needs replacing. Our first night it broke down completely and we had to change rooms at 10pm when we were already in bed! Solid maintenace work is needed if the owner wants to keep his clientele.

Great relaxing place! Close to a secluded beach. Not many restaurants in walking distance but the restaurant in the hotel was good.

Wonderful place …. arrive early and leave late to enjoy the wonderful grounds and pool and spa. Rooms are beautiful on walkways among the trees . Coffee and water always available at pool . Excellent property.

The door is difficult to open and close. Be careful of insects or mosquitoes entering the room.

The property was beautiful and clean. Staff were all welcoming, helpful and very nice.

We were the only ones there with a staff of 10 plus. Felt bad like they were all being kept at work just in case we wanted a massage or something.

A perfect place for peace and quiet in lovely green surroundings. The pool is wonderful, you can borrow bicycles to look around the area which very authentic Thai. The beach goes on forever but there had been a storm just before we arrived and was rather rough.The food in the restaurant was superb and good value.My wife used the spa and had a yoga lesson.The staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly, feels like we made a lot of new friends.

Amazing setting. Great pool. Rooms are lovely.Extremely relaxing. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing few days.

The reception staff have limited English but we got there in the end.

It is our second times here and we are happy to be here again. All staff member are great and breakfast are wonderful especially real good coffee. You made Chumphon province proud.We are happy that no matter it seem like no one there due to COVID-19 But if we would like to have lunch, dinner. It is still possible.

Pool area need to get check up. It is a selling point of the hotel.Pillow is very high, I can't sleep on it that well,

Evening meal was good but steak was small and chewy. Breakfast was fine but could do to have a choice of eggs from the kitchen. Eggs were cold.

Room 307. Bright light shining in above the door on to the bed at night. Unable to close the light and no curtain. Air-con was noisy and had to turn it off. Shower is hot or cold but hard to find comfortable temperature.Swimming pool could use some maintenance. Tiles missing and elephants need re-painting.

it’s in a palm tree forest and the surrounding greenery is very relaxing and welcoming, not far from beach you can get a bike riding 2minutes to the beach. room gives sense of being nestled in nature. deck is lovely to spend time having a drink or reading.

The nicest staff. The location is great. Food is so good, mostly Thai options.

The rooms are worn out, and have a bit of a musty smell. The place is expensive for what you get, but given the lack of options in Chumphon and how nice the staff are, it is probably one of the best choices.

Nice and calm resort. The staff is enthusiastic and very helpful. Althogh this time is the Corona virus outbreak, the hotel is more than 100% hospitality for every guests.

The hotel was very acceptable, it had just re-opened after a Covid shutdown so it would be unfair to be negative. The staff were very good and attentive. Having said that only two rooms were occupied.

I didn't do breakfast so can't comment on that. The beach is about 500 metres away and was horrific. To be honest, I spoke with a friend and he asked how was the beach, my reply was I'm not sure if it was a beach or a landfill site. To go on the beach I would require a NBC (Nuclear, Biological & Chemical) Warfare Suit. My wife participated in the yoga and was disappointed, seriously overpriced (even at 50% discount) and unimaginative. She also had a spa session and was very happy with that. The wifi was not unto much!
