A-Te Hotel Chumphon

I stayed in many hotels - but the staff here was the kindest and most helpful I have seen, very approachable, friendly, smiling, and helped me with whatever I needed. Above and beyond service. Very grateful to the reception team, the restaurant team, as well as breakfast servers.As for the hotel, nice room, and I loved the pool area.

Excellent stay at A-Te Chumphon Hotel - SHA Plus. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout our visit, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic with plenty of great options. Comfortable, clean, and a great value. Would happily stay here again.

We didn't get the friendly welcome cool drink on arrival. We felt rushed at check in.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very comfortable.Really good breakfast.10 minute walk from the train station and ideal for a stopover to Koh Tao.Area is less touristy and in a rural area.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Every member of staff we met greeted us with a smile…Breakfast was fabulous… great variety and choice. Very clean throughout. I have been travelling Vietnam and Thailand for the past month and this has to be the best shower! The swimming pool was a great bonus too.

The only concern… be careful when in the shower. The tiles can be very slippery. They should consider providing slip mats.

Best hotel in Thailand. Spotlessly clean, and everything worked. Powerful shower, polite staff, and the best breakfast ever, lots of choice cooked to perfection.

Excellent friendly staff. Balcony room overlooking pool was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was a mixture of Asian and European cuisine of a good quality. Lovely pool, towels provided. Restaurant available. The hôtel staff organised a private tour of the area at our request which was excellent.

Very nice hotel with a touch of luxury, in a town in which not many tourists stop over (but should). I had a nice pool view, and the room was modern, with only slight wear. The chair/desk arrangement was form over function, though: the chair is designed to fit snugly under the desk, but the consequence being that your knees/thighs crash into the desk. Oh, well, I still got my work done. The gym is small and rudimentary with aging equipment, but I still got a fine workout out of it. A somewhat solid walk from the train station, but doable for most. Summary: I would come back in a heartbeat.

Mosquitoes in room and around pool need to put controls in place spray rooms when cleaning etc Bitten to death especially our baby who had a bad reaction
