Good breakfast + centrally located. I recommend despite the old decor and rooms coz this was still the better choice in town.

Linens were ok, sheets were shrunk and did not fully cover the mattress.

Quality of rooms ,less than3 star category

Facility is spacious inside a mini forest feel. Food was fine and the hospitality was good too.

The facility needs serious restructuring or repairs, especially the floors, bathroom fixtures and most importantly, the swimming pool and it's changing rooms. Washroom near the dining area needs to be kept more clean as it tends to be smelly, especially for the people dining in the restaurant.

We had ordered for an extra bed . We got the bed however there was no quit . It was too cold insspite of asking them 2 times they dint provide so we had to sleep without a quilt .

Breakfast was good. However salt content in dishes could be reduced.

Service during dinner time took awfully long to serve. However there was considerable improvement the next day.

Nice location. Great food and friendly staff. Hotel premises looks like a resort. Though old property, but maintained well.

Needs a lot of maintenance. Gap in wooden flooring, with cigarette buds within the gap. Towels were smelling with strong washing agent odorous. Breakfast looked stale.

Rooms with no proper sunlight and wash room has lot off loose connections and leakages inside the room, worst point is low quality breakfast feels like somewhere in North India 2star hotel South Indian breakfast and room service foods are expensive like 5 star hotel price.Overall it's just the name Ashoka people will feel it's like Bangalore Ashoka Hotel, but their service and all other food and rooms are just 2 star...

Bath room supplies very poor quality and staff at breakfast in professional

Location was nice and the staff and the front desk was courteous enough to allocate Deluxe room when one more person was added lately. He was kind enough to change room where extra bed was quite comfortable without additional cost.

Wi-Fi is not proper. Please look into this

Booking reservation said they except credit cards but when checking out they only except Indian credit cards not international forced use to get cash.

Parking becomes difficult due to other events, for the inmates of hotel, bikes are parked in car parking, bikes can be parked near tree where car cannot be parked

Horrible experience, worth zero or even negative stars. Booked on 25th Jan night via Booking.com for 1 night (26th Jan) and called Hotel no. on 26th Jan at 2pm to confirm since we (me,wife,daughter) were reaching Hassan to check-in at 8pm, was informed all ok. When we rchd at 8pm as planned front desk informed that booking is canceled, though Booking.com was still showing as Confirmed/Active booking. Basically hotel seems to have canceled internally at 4pm and blamed Booking.com for cancelation though fault is entirely hotel's- we didn't argue much as no money was debited yet and we were in a hurry plus we got another good hotel soon but very very disappointed with The Ashhok's behaviour/treatment. Will never recommend to anyone due to the horrible attitude/incompetence of staff, though the ambience/location seemed nice

In general, it was comfortable.

Doors, wardrobe etc were quite old and creeky. AC was not able to be controlled.

Strong tobacco smell in the room, noisy air conditioner in the room, very small bathroom, exhaust did not work in the bathroom.Unskilled restaurant staff who fail to understand basic requests, getting a cup of masala tea during breakfast took 15 plus minutes, buffet breakfast had tasteless items and of poor quality,
