Sri Ganesh Residency

I booked a room at Sri Ganesh Residency Hotel, Tirupati, on 21/1/2026. The hotel is about 600 meters from the railway station. It's walkable, but the road is a bit winding and uneven. If you have luggage, it's better to take an auto. Check-in and everything went smoothly. The room and bathroom are clean. The room had a kettle and other items. The bed sheets and pillows were clean too. We booked the room for 3 people, but it's not that spacious. It's good for two people. Overall, it was a good experience

It was a roller coaster ride and lot of unexpected things happened to us in a planned hotel booking

We were asked to go to another hotel of the same property due to some issues they sighted us. It was heavily raining and at the same time we had go go to another hotel. This experience was terrible. The location of new hotel was 3km away from the booked one and a bit far from bus stand where we intended to stay. Overall it was terrible experience in this regard. The hotel given later is good and spacious. One other remark is, you don't know whether you are booking a AC hotel or not. You mnight be surprised to when asked to lay extra amount for AC.

Management representative was very supportive. The rooms were not ready and he courteously shifted to equivalent rooms in nearby location.

The shifted location was approx km away and in a by lane limiting quick access shops and hotels.

The staff were very helpful, the place was clean ans new, you can see sunrise and tirumala mountain from the window. Overall it was good

I liked the location, room, staff and bed.

Only my request to provide additional power point that too to support US plug. Most of us carry, phone, tab and smart watch. So we don't have enough power point to charge them.There is no coffee or tea place near by. It will be good if you can provide at the hotel itself.

Bathroom and toilet cleans is good and staff serve coffee and tea it's very good service.My luggage are safe in reception hall. thanks

Rooms were clean and spacious. Clean washrooms. Family friendly. Close to the Railway Station. Polite staff and owner.

Extortion charges at check in you don't know They don't mention whether rooms are a/c or non a/c...you have to pay extra They expect three people to sleep on single bed....pay their extortion amount to upgrade roomNew scam ...I have never faced this issue anywhere in India

It was all we needed to spend quiet night when waiting for next train. Bed was huge, water was hot and there was kettle in the room - big plus. They checked us in at 1:30 am and it’s walking distance from Tirupati train station.

Bedding could have been cleaner. Also they ringed at the door at 8am to ask if want coffee. It nice but not if you check in at 1:30am, plus there was a coffee inside the room, so if you want some you can just make it yourself.

The behaviour of the staff is very good

Delux room not having AC facility which was not made known while booking. I had to pay Rs.300 more per day.

It's amazing stay, small rooms but it's quite comfortable. It's very nice to stay with family. Very near railway station and bus station. Clean and neat.good behavior of staff.deffenetly i will recommend to my friends and relatives.

Mosquito bites in night and no prevention measure was taken after telling the staff.

We are given room in Sri Ganesh Grand instead of Ganesh Residency. This Ganesh Grand is newly constructed and rooms are very good. Everything maintained neatly.Reception staff, house keeping staff are friendly and responsive.

Good staff and room are very hygienic and most recommended in budget.

I liked it when I have visited it for the 1st time. It was clean and good.

Since it was good when I visit it for the 1st time, I have specially booked it again but It was not neat when I have visited it for the 2nd time. There was hair all over. Soap and shampoos were not there in the washroom. Room was not clean! Was very disappointed.

Good ambient room with neat n clean wash room, 24 hrs hot wster and with all basic amenities for a comfortable stay.
