HOTEL DKR GRAND

It is in a prime location and easily accessible from the Tirupati Bus Stand for Tirumala. The hotel’s ambience, staff behavior and service, cleanliness(Room.No:404), breakfast (mini tiffin), responsiveness to service calls, and facilities such as auto arrangements, Car parking, TV, and AC are all excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for a family stay.

The hotel is perfect for a short one-day stay. However, adding an in-house restaurant with buffet options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - in line with current trends - would make the stay even better.

⭐ 1/5 – Very Poor Experience – Not RecommendedI stayed at Hotel DKR Grand, Tirupati for a one-day trip, and the experience was extremely disappointing.Cleanliness: The hotel rooms were not clean. The blankets were unwashed, and the towels had a terrible smell.Reception & Payment: We checked in around 3:00–3:30 AM after a long journey, but the reception staff insisted on immediate payment. When I offered to pay by card, they said card payment was not available.Facilities: There was no hot water available in the morning.Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was of very poor quality and not worth mentioning.Safety Concern: There were no female staff members at the hotel — only men at the reception, which raises safety concerns for female travelers.Value for Money: The price is too high compared to other nearby hotels that offer much better service and comfort.Advance Payment Issue: Although the booking showed no prepayment required, the hotel still called and messaged insisting on advance payment.Overall: A very bad and unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are much better and safer options nearby.

Hospitality was good and all our requests were fulfilled. Food was tasty and hygienic and served in time.

Rooms are very basic. The bathrooms are dirty and small. AC didn’t work and I asked for different room. Had to switch rooms after check-in. Very sub-par experience. Don’t believe high ratings on booking.com. Steer clear of this hotel. For the price I paid, I was given nothing in return

The hotel was picked up by us randomly on the booking.com, which turned out to be a great place and a hidden gem in Tirupathi. There are quite a few similar hotels on the offer in the city, but we surely think our pick was worthy. The hotel is located in the central location of the city (10 mins away both from Railway station and main Bus Stand) and 30 mins away from Tirupathi International Airport. The neighborhood is quite and reasonably clean, we would not say it was the city center, but it's quiet. The hotel offered a free good breakfast that was surprisingly included in the room rent. The staff is quite friendly and cooperative at the hotel, who also offer room service. There is no inhouse restaurant, therefore one need to explore outside there are plenty of options. It would cost about Rs 100 - Rs 200 to the main city or restaurants, depending on which place one decides to go. Overall, DKR Grand is a highly recommended place for the tourists in Tirupathi.

The only thing that we didn't like is that the staff teasing for tips/money. It is very awkward to see the staff following to the taxi asking for the tips, despite not serving in any way. It makes sense, if you are tipping someone who served you, which we did sincerely putting the respective names on the tip. However, it is not convincing the whole crew walking together for tips, whether you interacted or not.

A 16-year-old suffered severe fever, unconsciousness, and red eyes after consuming a free meal at a

hi i hade book 2 rooms where they provided us with free food but when my 16 year old child ate it he hade severe fever and fell unconscious and his eye turn red so he was admitted to the near hospital and the next patient who was admitted in the hospital was the same case as my son and was from this hotel i strongly recommend to not eat free meals here.

Great Value for money, Right in the center of the city with good parking area Hotel it self was very clean and welcoming staff and comfy beds, nice bathroom with hot water facility with great wifi and smart Tv Breakfast was simple and taste which was enough to start our day. Would definitely stay again !!!

Great location, beautiful surroundings, atmosphere.great staff, most friendly and helpful receptionist mahesh, lovely and great first impression of hotel.every thing about the hotel was exceptional it was stylish, clean,room with excellent service in where we had our breakfast.food was good and great value for money,and service was attentive and efficient.room itself was well equipped and comfortable.i was very pleased with my stay.i hope to be back for a longer visit in the feature.

Room is very small. Not comfortable for 3 persons .Blankets are not clean. Not enough toiletries provided. No almirahs. No transaction by debit/ credit card. No room cleaning everyday.

Disappointing

a/c was not working properly, we said don't want complimentary breakfast but they did not reduce the amount for it, no credit or debit card payment facility, too small rooms though we asked for a deluxe a/c room. The room attenders were always keen in getting tips money, without a big service. No parking we have to park on the road.

The location was perfect. I went for a pilgrimage and all the Govt offices and good eateries were close by. The Bus station was nearby also so that I could go to Tirumala.

I think they should cull some of the stray dogs near to the hotel but far outside the premises but on the path towards the highway, Pilgrims can come and go anytime of the day and these folks sometimes are ferocious and scary.
