Nilaveli Hybrid Holiday Hotel

Nothing to say, very bad service.we were booked through booking.com when we arrived no rooms,1 pm check in time they gave us 8 adults 2 children only 3 rooms 5pm.

Amazing location and really hospitable staff who did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The BBQ dinner on the restaurant was also incredible. The staff were very helpful in arranging a trip to pigeon island for us ??. It’s a perfect place for holiday. I heartily recommend this place

•The pool is excellent, offering a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.•The area around the bar is awesome, with a nice ambiance that’s perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach.

•The breakfast options could definitely be improved. The continental breakfast portions were too small, and the Sri Lankan breakfast felt more like a dinner than a morning meal.•Unfortunately, our room wasn’t cleaned once during our 6-day stay, despite us requesting clean towels three times.•We gave our clothes for laundry at 800 LKR per kilo, but they lost some of our socks. To their credit, they did make the laundry service free for the rest of our clothes, but it was still an inconvenience.•Service was slow overall. Whenever we asked for something, we were told “we will do it,” but it often took a long time for anything to happen.•On weekends, the pool becomes a bit chaotic as locals come for parties. While it’s great that the hotel is popular, the noise and behavior of some guests who were drunk and annoying made the experience less enjoyable.•The bathroom isn’t new, and there was a noticeable bad smell in the room, which was unpleasant.•The room also had many bugs, which made the stay uncomfortable and added to the feeling that the facilities are not well-maintained.•Additionally, the hotel is quite expensive compared to others in the area. Unfortunately, the facilities and services offered do not justify the higher price, making it poor value for money.

Garden and cleanness in it, flowers and plants, cats. The food wasn't bad but in the bar just around the corner it was better.

Dirty bathroom, lack of warm water, lack of bulbs, lack of clean towels, no Glass in a window. For 2 days there was no air conditioning and we didn't get any refund for that. We have shortened our stay by one day and we haven't been refunded as well. So-called manager should have a second name "I promise". There was no locker in the room and no card payment available despite that being written in the hotel description (they suggested bank transfer to some employee's private account).

The rooms were clean and the locations was good as close to beach.

The WiFi signal wasn’t very good and also the food took very long to come after ordering.

Staff were wonderful, helped with motorcycle repair, loved the locals coming to play pool and swim, food was the best, grounds were nice, didn't have to leave to eat or have fun elsewhere.

We had a very nice and clean bedroom and bathroom. The hotel pool was enjoyable for us and also very hudge. The stuff people of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The beach is a 30 minutes walk by food or you can also take a tuktuk to the beach. For breakfast you can choose a international breakfast or a typical sri Lankan breakfast. All in all we enjoyed our stay there a lot and would come back again. :)

The property in itself is very nice and lovely pool and location is ok if wanting a week to chill around pool/ on beach. Pool was kept very clean most days and lovely shower.

The staff weren’t interested in helping us even though we were the only ones there. Don’t order food from the restaurant it is just chucked on a plate and/or a fryer. There seemed to be a lot of the public in and out of the hotel so we were surrounded by school kids running around and shouting whilst trying to eat lunch. Most evenings a crowd of men in the pool, shouting, drinking and keeping us up until late so we couldn’t use the pool table etc. It seems the staff just want to invite their mates and ignore guests.

The pool and surrounds are lovely. An excellent authentic local restaurant was nearby, just five minutes away on the main road. The Moon Isle restaurant was not too far away on the beach and excellent for an evening meal and drinks.The receptionist was very welcoming and we enjoyed the fresh juice offered on arrival.

The room was very dark for us, although others may enjoy that with poor lighting and only an opaque window..Although they were trying, breakfast was only average, with mediocre coffee.

The pool is naturally heated in the evening, so it's nice to get in the evening. Nice area to hangout and clean and comfortable rooms.

The hotel bar which is right behind the rooms is extremely noisy with people drinking from when we arrived around midday into the early hours of the morning. The hotel swimming pool is also available to people that are not staying at the hotel and was very loud and busy right through into the night.

Hello Yes. I need to say something they are very bad. When I arrived to hotel they told me they do not have room for me. they told me hotel full booked and no any room. I not stayed any days this hotel.

The staff is very lovely. I enjoyed the facilities such as the pool a lot. Breakfast is amazing, Dinner I can recommend too! Nilaveli Beach is about 10-15 minutes away (walking) and very beautiful. You can have a great and quiet time in this place. There is also lovely restaurants around. I can recommend King Coconut and Margaret's place for dinner right in the neighborhood, her homecooked food is exceptional! Rooms are clean and beds comfy.

Lovely pool and green garden with lots of lovely hidden little seating areas outside. Staff spend lots of time every day making sure the garden looks immaculate and the hotel is clean. The staff were super friendly and attentive and the manager was always keen to help. Always felt warmly welcomed and looked after by all of the staff. Scooter rental provided through the hotel quickly and the scooter was good quality. Scooter is probably needed as the hotel location is very remote. The food from the restaurant is amazing- especially the Sri Lankan chicken rice and curry. Room was basic but had everything you need and the small fridge is a nice bonus. We were sad to leave and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel rooms back on to the busy hotel bar which can be a bit hectic on the weekend, with quite a few drunk people wandering around. I believe the staff were trying to cordon this off better from the hotel and pool areas when we were leaving though.

We had a great stay here, it’s very clean, lots of lovely areas to sit, nice staff- very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The rooms were clean, kind staff and a nice pool with bar. It’s a bit far from restaurants but they are happy to arrange a tuktuk for you.

The staff was really nice but it is difficult to communicate with them because they do not speak English well. Sign language it is ;)

Staff were always friendly and very helpful. Food was great, one of the best around the area. Loved the greenery within the compound. The fridge was also very useful.

The bed sheets had some stains and the shower head wasn't totally functional. It can get noisy at times as the bar is located just outside the rooms.
