- This beach cabana style accomodation was in a very affordable price range for me and the meals offered were priced very good and the quality was great!!! Boossa Beach is a very nice beach and is located outside the built-up area of Galle but close enough to visit the Galle fort area with a short bus or tuktuk ride... I even walked to 7 km distance one day. The front of the property is on a busy road but once inside on the patio looking over the beach, it feels like a different world. Shiran the owner and host is a great guy and goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and that you can experience some authentic Sri Lankan hospitality. He is happy to fill you in on Sri Lankan culture and give you good advice on what to do and see in the area. I will go back to his place next time I'm in Sri Lanka... in the winter of 2026 i hope.
- Wow. I dont even know where to start! The rooms were very comfortable, with a mosquito net and a powerful fan to keep us cool at night. It was right on the ocean so we were able to sit on our balcony or on one of the lounges and enjoy the gorgeous views of the ocean and the amazing sunsets every day. The best past was the hospitality. Shehan was such an incredible host, he was super accommodating, organising airport transfer from Colombo, taking us to a local temple, teaching us so much of his culture and customs, playing a local game called Carum with us and going out of his way at every opportunity to make it the most amazing experience. He even showed us to two baby turtles that had hatched below the property and we had the magical experience of releasing them that night. The food was top notch, local Sri Lankan breakfasts and two delicious dinners overlooking the beautiful ocean. Truly one of the most amazing experiences Ive had. I highly recommend.

- I wish i could have been there a little longer to see the baby turtles pop out of the sand right in front of the patio. Shiran has sent me photos.
