Cleanliess. The hotel room was good but the surroundings of the hotel are really badly maintained. Also the resturant staff were not maintaing clean utensils

The hotel consists of many bar and the entry to bar and hotel is same. So I didn't felt that comfortable. Also I didn't liked the restaurant service. I didn't get my breakfast on time and that affected my plans. Also they didnot provided entire toiletries as mentioned

Heater was not working in one of the rooms. Even after complaining, it wasn't repaired.

Excellent hote with all facilities..... I will definetly refer my friends and family members. The staffs are so coperative in all scpects. Excellent location.

The restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast. The rooftop bar had very loud music and the drinks weren’t very cold

Nice big room, good shower, good Internet. Had a couple of small issues with the room which were very quickly solved by the very helpful staff.

Restaurant utterly empty at breakfast time. No staff, no customers. Bit odd

Hotel felt like the whole reason they existed was the bar licence downstairs. The bars and restaurants in the hotel were complete uninviting and empty and I felt sorry for the staff.

Other than the room itself, which was large and modern, not much to recommend. However they did bring water whenever we asked.

The bathroom was small, dirty even after cleaning and had a dank smell. The walls, shower curtain, bathroom door had dark mould stains. After complaining they changed the curtain and sprayed deodorizer to take away the smell. The restaurant did not have all the items on the menu; even toast for breakfast was a problem because they did not have bread on stock. The staff were trying to help but unfortunately not trained well. They seemed more eager that we paid our bill but did not accept international cards. Internet was on and off. The room phone was not connected, so for any request had to go all the way down to reception. If the bathroom had been good, we would have overlooked everything else.

Good food. Excellent location. Attentive staff. Very attractive pricing.

really nothing to like about this property or it’s location. in a gutter lay small and noisy streetgetting in and out of the hotel gate is painful and difficult

EVERYTHINGINSOLENT AND DRUNKEN BAR MANAGER - was scary to see him drunk and all over us—other thing was NO RUNNING HOT WATER IN THE ROOM and very unhelpful people who could not help—i was asked to go to a different room to have a shower also changed my room twice to resolve this but no change— absolute nightmarethe electrics keep going off all day long— nobody had any answersi even wrote to the manager to help and resolve this situation and compensate for all the troubles -but haven’t had any positive response yetthe hotel BAR and restaurant — totally insufficient supply of food varieties— most of the items on the menu are not availableOVERALL IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMAREAND i would warn everybody to be ware of the pitfalls hereDON’t be guided by the price— booking. com should not even put this hotel on their listi am a professional DOCTOR from London and have not had such a nasty stay in my 55 years of travelling all over the world

Neatness, spacious room .well furnished comparatively cheap cost

Close to the Kottayam old bus stand and the Temple the property was clean and compact. The staff were helpful and the food was good. The room was comfortable. It was a good place for a brief stay and to freshen up.

Being in the centre of town it did not have much of a view- but it was easy to get around.

Great hotel, right in the heart of Kottayam. The rooms were simple but very comfortable and the facilities were very clean. We ended up having to book our stay last minute, due to a mix up with some other location, and the staff were very accommodating, allowing us to check in very early in the morning. The hotel manager helped arrange an excellent driver who was reasonably priced. We were very happy to have found the Iswarya Reaidency.

The location, service and cleanliness are all outstanding.

Room had no openable window. Not very family friendly with a lot of happy but drunk people at the hotel gate entrance where there is an entrance to one of their bars.

Clean and neet rooms. Good atmosphere
