Room was really outdated, I don’t think this hotel is 4 star hotel, maybe 2 or 3 stars.Also staffs are not very friendly, didn’t provide help for luggage etc.

Food great, staff friendly

It needs bottle opener in the rooms, staff have to more clearer about meal times

It was near the airport. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful.

The property needs a refresh They failed to tell us when we booked they had a wedding on , so we couldn’t use one pool or the lake front as normal as the wedding Marque was set up there. After enquiring about the time the music would finish and commenting that they should warn guest about it lack of facilities and disruption due to the event they did however give us dinner FOC which was good but we had booked near the airport so we could get an early night as we had an early start but it wasn’t meant to be. Kalum in the Lobby was helpful.

A perfect place to relax and unwind as a solo traveller, a lovely resort with huge rooms and two pools. The buffet options for both breakfast and dinner were varied each day and the housekeeping always kept the rooms clean. The gym was also nice with air conditioning and water and was empty every time I went so I had it to myself.

Hotel is close to the airport , very convenient. Good cocktail at baracuda!

I booked a deluxe room to relax and have a bath on my last night in Sri Lanka, but the bathtub wasn’t working, which was very frustrating and disappointing. At the bar, the cocktail was good, but we ordered shisha and had to wait 45 minutes. When we asked about it, they said it would take another 10 minutes and blamed the delay on a busy bar, even though there was only one other table at the time. I also ordered room service, but the food arrived cold, dry, and overcooked. At check-out, the staff didn’t greet me or say anything—they were busy talking to each other and just handed me the bill. Overall, I didn’t like my experience and felt very disappointed and found it Overpriced

The B/fast was plenty and good verity of choose with a great look over the lagoon.

The rooms are pretty new and well kept. Lots of space for the kids to run around with lush greenery. Pool, gym etc are state of the art.

We were not the only quests in the room as it was infested with mosquitoes and we were all bitten especially our kid. The restaurant food selection was quite poor and some of the food was not well cooked. Some of the staff are not very responsive (not all).

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were big and spotless, and the staff was very welcoming. We loved the big garden and enjoyed the short walk to the beach. The environment was calm and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely return!

The hotel was clean, well presented, with really friendly staff. They gave me a gorgeous cake for my birthday and also decorated the bed for me, which was a really sweet touch.

Unfortunately the stay was very expensive in comparison to other stays in Sri Lanka which offer a lot more. The other downside was the location as it is very secluded and far from restaurants, things to do etc..

The lagoon was nice and the pool looked over this. The room was big and relatively clean, with good aircon. The staff were really helpful and the restaurant food was good.

The room smelled a bit, the restaurant was quiet but that may be the season we travelled in. There was some noise from a wedding but the staff asked them to be quiet.

View over lagoon. Gym - mix of loose weights, cardio, multi gym. Massive room with everything in it. Variety at breakfast. Site staff (cleaners, maintenance etc) very friendly and warm. How clean the site is. Front of house manager dealt with room issues promptly and proactively. See below.

Changed room 3 times in first 24 hours - sent to wrong room initially. Moved when complained about dirty plate in room, bathroom not fully cleaned etc. Room 2 - a/c not working after two site staff visits in the evening followed by getting up repeatedly in night to turn a/c on/off to try to get it working. Room 3 - super! Manager arranged complimentary breakfast to compensate. Very much appreciated. Dinner - lovely. Just be aware - the price you see on menu is less than you are charged by around 20%. Other charges ‘appear’ when you come to sign. Maybe me being tired or over sensitive ( I’m not usually) … but … whilst most staff seem just as lovely as all locals I’ve met, as I’ve travelled around for 5 weeks here, a few customer facing staff came across as too busy or important to have to deal with ‘little ole me’…

DENGU, DENGUE, DENGUE!!!!!!This is a a beautiful hotel with beautiful amenities but after 2 days by the ‘lagoon’ a rubbish infested, stinking, uninhabitable cess pit!! I contracted dengue fever from this place.I spent 4 days in hospital north of Sri Lanka, they got me back to health. They told me dengue is rife in negombo but particularly near any ‘lagoon’Avoid like the literal PLAGUE!!!!!!

The tooms looks very nice at the picture but you will get a different impression when arriving. I had a terrace (3sqm) surrounded by 3 high walls without any seating chairs.The room is at some points very used and the quality is average.Not worth to pay that price for this facility..

The property outside looked nice but both pools were closed and there was a wedding on.

Bad restaurant experience, food not great and slow.

Close to the airport, nice pool, large familyrooms, small playground for the kids, strong WiFi (which is pretty rare in Sri Lanka)

Unfortunately there was a wedding when we stayed here so it was very noisy til late. Fridge in the room didn’t work (was replaced but took long to cool), as well as the A/C in the gym where it was 35 degrees. Food quality very average. Overall too expensive for what you get.

Disappointing

Room was hot. Could not makeairconwork. No instructions to help. Was og shown by staff. Bathroom not very clean esp bath mat. Someone from restaurant called at 7.30 to ask me if I was going to have breakfast. It woke me up!

We loved the pool area and the rooms were lovely and spacious and clean

The food wasn’t as good as other places we have visited in Sri Lanka felt like a production line, not very good value for money.
