I recently stayed at this hotel and my experience was extremely disappointing. Despite the receptionist being okay and the security being good, everything else was far below acceptable standards.Firstly, the room was just normal, nothing special, and certainly not worth the rate they charged. The hotel service was terrible; no one even helped carry our bags. The room cleanliness was absolutely zero, with old, unclean water bottles provided.The service in the restaurant was appalling. There was a lady serving food whose cleanliness was non-existent and who lacked basic manners. In the morning, we left glasses and plates out and when we asked her to clear them, she rudely replied that she was busy. With low occupancy, such behavior is inexcusable. Furthermore, the prices were outrageous, charging ₹750 for a papaya!The overall service was abysmal. In the morning, the water flow was so slow it was difficult to take a bath, and the flusher was broken, making the bathroom situation terrible.This hotel is a complete disappointment, and I would never recommend it to anyone. Save your money and stay elsewhere!

Worst hotel I ever visited. I visited this hotel with my wife and daughter on 23rd May. I think there are another approximately 10 families and one foreigner stays in ths hotel at this moment. We had not electricity facility since 2.00Pm to 5.00Pm on 23rd. Now time is 7.30am on 24th May and I wrote this review when I stay in the hotel. Serious issue was we have no any water supply since 6.00pm on last day and all the guests are really struggling with their needs. At this moment electricity supply also not provided. (Dud to bad weather conditions, electricity power interrupted in this area. But they not using their generators also). So my advice is please think twice before you select this hotel. Really poor management.

location was as i thought it will be but the friendliness of people amazed me it was above my every expectations i recommended this place to everyone

i would like them to offer local food at their menu, maybe it's just me but international menu i can have anywhere in the world and when i am at some exotic places i like to try local things

The location was good. Peaceful environment by the beach. Very friendly and hospitable staff (except the Chef)

The lunch was horible. (The breakfast was acceptable). The rooms are not up to standard at all. Very poor management.

Personalized services offered by the resident manager and the team was exceptional. Convenient location. Loved the toddy tapping experience.

Still using plastic bottles. High time to shift to glass bottles.

Location is great. Room is bit old but clean. Food ordered for dinner is very tasty. Can order your dinks as they have a bar.

I made the booking through a last minute promotion for a lesser price. I felt like that the offered promotion is a mistake from the hotel because of that they did not pay more attention to me. (Since I am paying 50%). Portion of the breakfast is very less. Just 2 slice of bread, few fruits, omelet, 2 small sousages and a small cup of fruit drink. I am not sure whether this is the same for others...

The staff is very friendly and the hotel was good.The beach is very nice and the pool was also good. There is not much to see in the town around the hotel, but that is ok, if you just want to relax at the hotel.

It's right on the coast with a small private beach with a red flag (dangerous to swim?). The swimming pool is central. They have good room service and were able to organise to exchange currencies.

They didn't have a good way to organise transport and one of the staff members seemed a bit too money focused.

Inside of the room is clean. Delicious food. Beautiful and peaceful location, friendly and helpful staff.

No welcome drink, no enough secure parking, windows of the room haven't cleaned, satellite tv is out , had to wait untill 9.00am to use pool untill it cleaned.?. Hot water shower is very slow.

Location was superb, children can play freely, nice and private beach like a paradise. Even pool and the arrangements of the pool was great. Children had nice time and fun with the pool. size of the pool and depth is really nice and safe. Breakfast was good with many options and was a tasty Sri Lankan breakfast.

I booked two rooms both were not clean with older amenities including bathroom. Poorly maintained property, rooms are not like the photos given in the advertisement. Mr.Shantha - The Manager tried his best to get the A/C's fixed, but those were very old A/C's. I don't think they even had people to maintain and clean the property.I herd that many people complaint that their rooms A/C is not working, A/C is compulsory requirement as these days Marawilla is really hot. We stayed only one night, during one night five times power went off due to power over load. My wife was asking if we go back home. We could see its not general power outage as we could see outside of the hotel there was no power issue but inside the hotel power has gone due to overload. I booked two rooms, one of my rooms A/C was not working, we checked in at 2.00pm, we had to wait 7.30pm to give us a solution. Initially they said there are no additional rooms and all booked but at 7.30pm we were given another room with A/C. Room sizes were small, most of the rooms you don't get electrical kettle even though you got tea / coffee, not even a dustbin. Dinner was not that great but got good and tasty Sri Lankan breakfast next day. Entrance to the hotel wasn't great, parking given was outside of the hotel but not safe like abandoned property. I strongly believe that the management must upgrade the property before advertise as guests will totally be disappointed if you go there for your holiday!!
