I loved staying at this place, once I booked host sent me a message and asked if I need any transport organised for a reasonable price due to the weather condition. The room was cleaned and well maintained also since I left early morning for a hiking host prepared a breakfast once I was back. The breakfast was tasty and had a few different items inside. Loved this place and will definitely come back.

I was visiting that time when they had the heaviest rain in 30 days. Due to this the internet connection wasn’t good.

Very old. Not the same photos in booking.com. Even toilet is very old. Not a value for your money

Lots of ants in the room.

Charged etc for credit card fees. Other booking.com hotels do not charge on top of quoted price. Property lost power for 4 hours.

Booked first night without AC. Luckily I could easily upgrade. If you go. AC is necessary. But not just there, in any hotel

Lovely friendly host, unfortunately for us there was a property next door having a rave which went all night.

Really lovely staff who went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at home in my short stay here. The homemade breakfast was delicious (omelette, fruits and tea) and the hotel is in a great location. Really glad I chose to stay here.

The room was quite hot even with the fan on and there were lots of mosquitoes and ants in the bathroom.

The staff at the hotel were very accommodating - we flew in late and arrived at 1:30am. They welcomed us and got us set up. The hotel then organised a driver to get to Sigiriya for us, which was very useful!

The owner and his family were fab and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was really good too. The location was just right for us.

Quite a few mozzies near reception. They love me and will seek me out anywhere. Nothing else. It was as basic/fancy as we expected it to be.

We stayed here only for a couple hourse in the night after our late arrival and early checkout. The owner was very friendly, even when we had to wake him up at 4:30 in the night when we arrived. We were lucky he checked our room after we got out and waiting for a taxi because we forgot a bag in the bathroom. So thank you for that!

Room had no A/C and was older.

Good location for beach, restaurants and shops.Fantastic breakfast. Good wifi

The staff was amazing, welcoming us with a fresh juice. They also helped us arranging a private driver very last minute for Anuradhapura. Really good breakfast.

The bathroom smelled really bad and was so humid, really hard to take in for our first night in Sri Lanka. It would need a good refreshment.

The owners were wonderful, they waited for me to arrive on a very late flight and were so kind and helpful with all of my questions. Breakfast in the morning was awesome too, I totally recommend

The very welcoming atmosphere in this family hotel. The bed is large, comfortable and with excellent quality bed sheets. The breakfast is copious with toasts butter and jam as well as parathas and delicious dal and curry.

The guy who made our breakfast was super nice.

We asked for a pick up from the airport and drop of to the train station. In comparison to the local drivers they charged us with close to the double.

A basic room but exactly as advertised and it satisfied my needs. Close to the airport along with Negombo Main Street and beach. The owners are very welcoming and kind.

The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and ample enough to keep you going for a day of exploration. The room was decently supplied and we slept comfortably. The minibar/fridge was also helpful and I appreciated that they tucked the mosquito nets for us behind the headboards so we slept comfortably. A/C worked well also (not true everywhere on our journeys through Sri Lanka ;)). Location was also really good- we could walk to everything we needed and there was plenty around, while still being sufficiently quiet at night.

The hot water ran out a bit for me and/or didn't always seem to work sufficiently, depending on when I showered.. (though I wouldn't say it was cold either, thankfully). The shower/bathroom also could use a little extra care at some point - but it was clean, so no issues there!
