Everything was great. The staff was above and beyond helpful. The pool was an oasis of tranquility and the room was just perfect. The whole place invited to relax, chill and enjoy!

No everything was great

Everything was amazing. From the koi pond at the entry, to the thoughtfully arranged rooms and public spaces to the pool/lounge area with the its resident tortoises, to the open air eating area, the whole vibe was tranquil privacy. We loved our beautifully decorated orange room - comfy bed, spacious bathroom - just what we needed after our 24-hour trip to Sri Lanka. The staff were friendly and professional and went above and beyond with service. They helped arrange a short excursion and even find my husband some flip flips in the right size LOL. Breakfasts were delicious and generous. The hotel is located away from the main strip so it's quiet, but still just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping etc. For our first trip to Sri Lanka it was really a wonderful start. Our flight arrived very early morning, so we booked an extra half day, which was well worth it.

If anything the breakfasts were perhaps too generous? Just when we thought we were done, another plate of food would arrive. So wonderfully fresh it was hard not to try it all. I guess one other quibble would be that they requested we pay cash at checkout, which we hadn't anticipated, so we had to do a quick ATM run.

Very nice Place to stay ,especially for gays! The staff is very kind & very helpful. From check-in until the check- out, everthing was well organized and professionally handeld We were there over Singhalese New Year and a lot of shops were closed. But everybody helped and organized everthing we needed. The rooms are big, very well equipped and very clean, like the completed hotel area. The breakfast was also good: Eggs, Omelette,Pancakes, Fruit platter…You also can play Pool billiard or invite friends to join you in the pool area. Easy going, chilled place only few meters from the nice big beach. We looking forward to come back asap! Greetings Simon ❤️Mike

Dickman Resort is an absolute standout in Sri Lanka, offering a level of service and style that has unique sophistication. Service was Impeccable! Every staff member was warm, witty, and professional, making us feel like VIP guests rather than just visitors. It’s rare to find a team so well-trained in the finer details of hospitality. The gated buzzer entry ensures exclusivity. Location easy walk to restaurants,beach.Spa massages a MUST !! Breakfast - delicious and plentiful! The biggest luxury! No kids! As an adults-only resort, the atmosphere remains peaceful, intimate, and indulgent.The rooms are spacious, each with its own character. We stayed in the Red Room, which oozed romance while still carrying a masculine edge. This place delivers exactly what it promises: stylish, modern oasis, bold, chic aesthetics, impeccable attention to detail, and a truly boutique experience from the moment we arrived .

We liked the ambiance, the decor, the cleanliness, the service, the attentive staff, the quality of the produce and presentation of the breakfast. Chef and kitchen staff to be commended. Cannot fault the resort.

The Dickman Resort is a beautifully designed and well managed resort in the heart of Negombo. The rooms are stunning and the environment is incredibly relaxing. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

It lives up to its high rating. This is a colourful and tastefully designed property with a lovely pool. The staff are very attentive and friendly. It’s very peaceful and relaxing and has some good restaurants nearby.

The furnishing of the individual rooms was simply fantastic. The feeling for the colors and the small details is like art. The staff, like the owner, are lovely and super friendly and accommodating. Everything is prepared with a lot of love and the included breakfast is the best I have ever had, sumptuous, fresh and again the small details like the butter and the jam on the table or how the fruit is cut. You simply have to see this hotel

5 star service without the price and very very friendly.Close proximity to the centre of Negombo.Excellent breakfast with relaxed eating times, no need to set an alarm!

No mirror in the bedroom which would have helped.

This place is great. Lovely pool, plenty of subdbeds, great food, the Mango Suite was fab but the best part was the staff. So friendly but really helpful and efficient. Service was quick and the food was good. This is such a relaxing place but really close to all the bars, restaurants and beach life. Just perfect

The property is full of colour and is central, without being plagued by the noise of the city. We were going to leave before breakfast so they offered us a glass of wine (though the glasses were quite dirty).

The reviews did not match our experience. They use two round prong plugs, different than a throng else we experienced in India and Sri Lanka. It was such a pain. When we asked for a converter, the management brought us the wrong type. They had to come in and out of our room 6+ times. We had a short stay and the property struggled to process the basic administrative pieces to get us settled. There was rotten fruit set out as a welcome gift. For what we paid, this was incredibly disappointing.

It was refeshing to visit such an inclusive hotel with such a warm, welcoming team. My husband & I were very appreciative of the help and excellent hospitality. Loved the resident tortoises!

Very quiet small property with a lovely pool and sunbeds with thick mattresses and towels provided. Absolutely enormous comfortable bed with mosquito net and soft pillows. Great Sri Lankan and western breakfast and fantastic friendly staff. Restaurants and beach a five minute walk away. The perfect place to unwind after a long flight.

Nothing not to like!

Wonderful guesthouse in pleasant Negombo. Conversely located 5 mins from the Main Street and the beach. Tons of restaurants and bars to choose from there. 20 mins by car from the airport. 1 hour to Colombo. A perfect little oasis to rest, unwind and ease into your holiday. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Big pool. Lovely cafe/bar. Great value for money. Felt safe and well taken care of. Staff is stellar! Professional, pleasant, helpful! Loved them all, and plan to return.
