Hive 68 - Hotel and Resorts (Negombo)

Location was good and the availability of air-conditioning and separate fan,

There was supposed to be a breakfast to go and the order was missed, so we went out in the mornings without food.

The room size, the great bed, the shower facilities were excellent beyond happy faces! All staff members were exceedingly gracious, responsive, and clear communicators. The breakfast was beautifully displayed and delivered.

N/a great location for my needs

The restaurant's food was very good. The staff helped us find transport to the airport at 5pm during a cyclone

The room was supposed to have a canal view, but it was in the lower floors so too low to actually see it. Because i was there during a cyclone, water seeped in from the window making the floor near it wet.

Overlooking canal. Decent sized room. Location close to shops and restaurants.

Rooms were basic, overall did not reflect appearance of photos or rating on Booking.com.

Convenient after s late night flight. Great service and fantastic breakfast included

The property was in a great location and very clean. Very clean! Nice shower and comfortable bed. Close enough to a church that you can hear the call to prayer at 5:30am. The staff of the hotel and restaurant were incredibly helpful with our tuk tuk rental issues. Many thanks!

Nice clean hotel for spend a night after your flight and easy walk around Negombo.Stuff was very helpful and breakfast was good

Very lovely staff. We had an early flight and they prepared us egg sandwiches to go! The room was specious and clean, and the shower hot!

Not very central location, there wasn’t many restaurants around. Anywhere you’d want to go you have to get a tuktuk

Rooms are basic but clean, very good location , the staff was very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was very good, we liked here and we will choose again if we come back.Very good place to stay for a short break in Negombo.

Friendly staff, decided to have dinner at their restaurant one night asked for something not on menu, sri lankan vegetarian curry... can only say it was AMAZING, yummy yummy yummy..

Close to the airport and the staff were very friendly and accommodating!

Beds were very hard, and it outside environment was very loud including a loud music into the early hours as well as religious music waking us up at 6am

Great spot on the canal for a night, had everything you could want in a room, organized an airport transfer, although probably cheaper to just use uber or pick me.

The toilet has some bad smell, believe the reason is next to the canal which is dirty

Great location just off main Street. Staff very friendly & helpful. We were able to leave our bags there all day until our late night flight.

Facilities were good. Beds comfortable. Little things like the balcony door leaked when it rained. Plug socket didn't work on one side of the bed.

The hotel manager was arranging us a great canal tour and the breakfast was also really good And the staff were really helpful and friendly

Well run hotel with helpful staff. Liked that balcony had seating and you could watch life and activity on the canal below. Bottled water provided in room. Attractive on-site restaurant with canal views and reasonable prices. Good quality food....had the most tender and best cooked steak, I have ever eaten! Felt safe as lone female traveller. Took their lagoon trip. Told 12,000 before I arrived, but 10,000 when asked at desk. Convenient as boat is moored outside. Arranged an airport taxi for 3,000. Convenient for airport.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. We were especially touched by the extra effort made to make our room feel special for my husband’s birthday it truly meant a lot to us. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable. We really appreciate everything!

Exceptional value for money. Great for pre or post flight stay. Just 20 mins from airport. Clean, modern hotel. Excellent room. Excellent attached restaurant. Very friendly staff. Amazing value.

Nothing - it was perfect.

Hive 68 is well located on a quiet road in the centre of old Negombo overlooking the canal and church. It's a short drive from the airport and a short tuk-tuk ride to Negombo beach. The rooms were comfortable with good A/C. The staff were friendly and helpful organising a taxi to the airport for us.

The breakfasts were disappointing with limited Sri Lankan food on offer. The evening meal was tasty but more expensive than we paid in other places.

Perfect stay over for me and my partner.l travelling from Galle. We had to get up v early for our flight so it was great being so close. Lovely hotel hosts and the canal is really nice to look out! Room was clean and at very good price !
