Clean and spacious

Everything was good. From checking in to Room condition to check out. Zahier, Anna you are the best. Breakfast can be crowded at peak hours but did not wait for long. Bed was so comfy. Water pressure was good. Parking was easy. Ample. Ver well lit up.Best to park at level 6. touch and go can be validated at the front dest

Welcome cookies, friendly and speedy check-in at front counter. Wide spread of breakfast items ranging from local to western, chinese and also japanese.

Need to stop at front counter to tag out every time instead of allowing us to use the hotel card to validate the parking.

Bed

make up room not properly done. Breakfast have to queue long. Staff not responding as expected. Aircond control panel not working.frustrated with service overall. Not worth the money spent

Breakfast had a variety of foods and was fresh. The Christmas dinner reflected different meats, seafood, soups and desserts. Really enjoyed the food at Makan Restaurant. The staff at the restaurant were pleasant/helpful and filled my water bottle daily for me to take for the day's journey.

The room design is simple, yet comfortable. The bathroom light shines into sleeping area, which isn't the best at night. The king size bed suite could use a newer couch. Nevertheless, we were still satisfied with our room.

Room spacious comfy bed with facilities. Very Good Breakfast served.

We experienced a Bad Odour from bathroom. Room No.1810 ; House keeping should have noticed this. Didn't expect at a 5* Hotel like this. too bad .

We like the atmosphere of the hotel. It made us feel like coming back to home. The staffs are kind and helpful especially the reception and reservation team. We had a wonderful yet memorable trip during our stay with DoubleTree Melaka. Definitely we will come back again.

Makan kitchen seems like shorthanded during breakfast time, as quite some used plates left unattended on the tables.

Bed & pillows are so comfy. The staff is very friendly & professional.

WiFi is spotty, unable to view videos.

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Thumbs up? for the friendly staffs at the front desk. A good breakfast buffet spread.

- Nice hotel with spacious rooms and relatively modern. - We were on honeymoon to got free room upgrade and little cake which was very nice from them!- Location is a bit removed from city centre which is nice on one hand as you are more removed from the hectic/noisy downtown but on the other side, the neighbourhood of the hotel is very quiet and run-down so not too many alternatives to eat/coffee. City centre is less than 10mins by Grab though (1 or 2 euros so very cheap)

- I would say the neighborhood itself is run-down and not too many options but that has not something to do with the hotel

Very comfy & spacious room, good facilities. Forgot to opt for other types of pillow as the current pillow is abit too soft. Breakfast was good with many varieties. Parking fee is exempted which is out of my expectation. Didnt try out the sauna room, which makes me regret. Attentive staff. Overall nice experience with the stay. Hopefully the price could be lower abit in the future

Suitable for those self-driving

I will not choose to stay here if I visit Malacca in the future.

The smell is not pleasant in the whole building, including the room itself.The bed sheet is not clean enough.The wind is too strong for sleeping even when we have turned it to the lowest level.Half of the staff at the reception are quite numb and not very responsive.

Unfortunately my room 2617 which are connecting room was not so secure as the connecting door cannot be locked from my side and the people from the next room can easily push the door. even though the door have the lock latch but still not secured. Please repair it for your next customer to prevent any misbehavior in future. Furthermore, why I am not entitle to claim my honor stay point even though I made a booking thru booking.com ? TQ

My families and myself love the room very much. The rooms are very spacious, clean and specially the bed very comfort.We will recommend to all my friends and family members this Doubletree Hilton Hotel. BREAKFAST IS THE BEST.Thumb Up.

The hotel is nice and staff very helpful. Although location is on the outskirt of the city center still worthed . Even taxi have very good prices.

The Italian restaurant always with out Rib eye steak.

I liked the front desk staff, the view from our room, and the chocolate chip cookie given to guests as a welcome gift.

The mattress was a little lumpy, and the parking, especially since we had to validate the touch and go card each time we drove out.

Deluxe king was spacious Breakfast had a good selection Staff were very friendly and kind

For a deluxe king amenities were very poor. Only 2 sachets of nescafe coffee. No vanity pads had to ask for some. Duvet cover Seam had split at the top so the duvet poked out. Also only 2 small bottles of water Bath tub would not drain and the room and linen felt dated. The silicone around the bath tub desperately needs replacing. My partner and I joked how the AC was so inefficient and we had it set to 16 degrees and it was not Even that cool in the room. If you are driving it is very confusing to know you need to park on level 6 and above and then carry your own bags to the reception at level 12, no conceirge service to greet you. It was so confusing and the welcome therefore was really terrible for a "5 star" hotel. To pay for a higher room category I expected more so in this respect I did not find it value for money.
