Hotel Sentral Riverview Melaka

I stayed just one night. This is a budget hotel and for the price it delivered. The room was large and spacious.

It is rather far from Dutch square - a 25 min walk - and sometimes hail taxis a=hard to get.

Please improve the breakfast buffet I come at 9am but all food already finished Even the bread all empty Really disappointed with the breakfast buffet Even it is only basic breakfast but please make sure it enough for all.Please make sure like long weekend, hotel are full and make sure foods are enough to everyone.Like today , we need to wait almost 30min for staff to topup the food, within 5min topup, the food finished again ..then need to wait again for others menu to be topup, so stressful.Breakfast buffet is the one we are looking for when stay in hotel, even only 3 star hotel but if the breakfast buffet okay I think all we be happy and will repeat to stay.

Strategic location nearby AEON Mall, restaurants and Jonker Walk.

The hotel is affordable, middle of town access to shopping malls and place of interests and nice traditional breakfast + western fusion .

The location, the indian staff at the reception is very welcoming.

The room is smelly , smell like mouldy, the sheets has lot of stains. I’ve stayed here before but the quality has been drops .

Comfy bed, AC and water pressure in the shower. Reasonably clean facility. Spacious room for the price.

First entry was with a bad odour in the room.Furniture within are quite old and seems lacking maintenance.

The worst

Request for queen bed but the receptionist at the counter said rooms is full for the queen bed. How come room is full? At parking area i only see 5-6 cars only and in the morning only 1 table for breakfast. So dissatisfied about this

Overall, it was bad. The bedsheet was black and smelly. There were mosquitoes, and I couldn’t sleep.

The bed/ shower dont have hot water

First, when I logged in, I asked the employee about the prices. She said that one night is 188 ringgit, and in the Booking app it is 100 ringgit. It is better to book through Booking. Second, unit 618 does not have Wi-Fi. I called the employees many times, and they said that the entire 6th floor does not have Wi-Fi. I was without Wi-Fi. I hope they solve it. Third, I called the employees because I needed more sugar, coffee, and cream. They said it will come to you now. I waited for a long time and called again, but they did not respond to me. Thank you.

The location is good..

The room had very strong painting smell..Suddenly electric cut off at mid night, n the staff didn't realise..The breakfast not so tasty, 1st day of breakfast is like cooking overnight food..n the food had not much choices..feeling bad..Then 2nd day the breakfast back to normal, but the choices not much also...

We had been transferred to another room ‘coz there’s water coming from the AC. The electric kettle is faulty.

No issue with the cleaness, facilities, locations and all that.

This is happened during my stay :1. The door did not responded any green, blue, or red light when I touched the automatic card so I used the manual key, and believe me it wasn’t easy everytime I want to enter my room. Room 725 was great and spacious but I dont like manual key approach.2. Parking near the hotel building was a mistake. The builing paint was spread to my car, and until now the paint could not be removed. The hotel aware the incident was happened to some cars and it did not handled properly. Am I should info inform the management and seeking for a forgiveness ? No way, because the hotel already aware those incident but no proper action has been taken. Now I need to handle this paint on my own even the water jet also could not solve it.

booked for a double bed but we got two single beds instead - very frustrating. the bedsheets were dirty and had spots on them. no bottled mineral water provided - got water dispenser outside, though - but not very convenient especially after a long ass drive. we prefer the ironing provided inside the room individually. not so many varieties for breakfast but it was okay though. last but not least, FIX THE WINDOWS. the outside environment was very loud at night i could hear the engines revving nearby. couldnt close the windows tightly because they were somehow damaged. honestly, i had high expectation for my stay at this hotel this time. hotel sentral MITC provided better service, if you ask me. same name, different franchise. why cant this hotel reach up to that par? smh.

The television should replace with smart tv...so the customers can watch their fav movies by youtube or screen share by phone...and the quality of wifi should be improve...very poor signal
