Hotel Tengkera

Close enough to Jonker Street yet far away enough from the crowd.Host is friendly and welcoming.

It’s more like a summer camp but it calls itself a hotel.A double room squeezed in two extra beds was sold as Deluxe Family Room.

Good location with parking lot for our car

We reserved room for 3 of us, room was small for 3 persons’ stay.

The owner is very nice and the location is strategic. Nearby Jonker Walk.

Water heater not function in the room.

The location is nearby Jonker Street, which is 5mins walking distance.Budget price with reasonable environment and facilities.

proximity to Jonker walk and the Stadhuys are a plus point.

all is good considering have stayed here couple of times before...however owner do not recognize if you are a return guest

A bit noisy till 23:00, after that everyone goes to sleep and the place goes quiet. Beware of mosquitos, it's almost impossible to let let any in

The host drive me to Malacca Sentral in the morning and to the floating mosque in the evening for free.

The owner is really friendly and helpful. Sactisfactory cleanliness and all the facilities works well. Very conveniently situated just 5mjns walking distance to the Jonker Street and some historical street.

Quiet hotel and the restaurants around were excellent. Friendly management.

While we're here haven't seen any that make us didn't like.

This room was near to Little India. You can go to Kampung Malacca chetti in 3 minutes. It is also a 5 minute walk to Jonker Street. Car parking was at the hostel itself which was even more convenient.

The owner and staffs there are very friendly and kind. Appreciate their hospitality. Environment is clean and location is near to jonker street.

There were many mosquitoes, although we didn't get bitten but still a bit annoying to see them flying everywhere.

The location was amazing, just minutes walk from Jonker Walk! The owner was very friendly and helpful with all our inquiries, even when my mum lost her phone, he immediately came to help. Water dispenser was easily accessable around the clock.

The Wifi-signal in the room was so weak, it was unusable. Only in the lounge was the connection stable enough.

Walking Distance to Jonker Street.Has private car park so you can park there and walk to nearby attractions without trap in traffic.

Central location. Right next to Jonker Street.Spacious and relaxing public space.There's couple room available so the owner gave us several option to choose as we like.Some room is a bit far at the back but it's quiet and provide good sleep at night.Free drink available. We sit and chat and drink at the public space at night.A lot of car park available for visitor.Owner told us they are expanding their services. So it could provide bbq/steamboat area in the future.

Mosquito is a lot even in the room. So do take note to bring extra insect repellent along.Not much channel in the TV provided. So do bring your own entertainment at night.

No room even though reservation was made.

Even if I booked in this hotel beforehand, this property operator can simply transfer my reservation to another person, just because of that person give higher price. Then I reached there, they only tell you this on spot, without cancel my reservation. And I have to find other hotel and cost me extra money.They didn't care about customer and don't follow booking.com reservation process. They only greedy about money. I wonder why booking.com still work with this hotel. Make us troublesome.

water hilter is not working properly. water comes out very slowly. There is only one clothes iron there. had to share with other customers. very troublesome.
