Heeren Straits Hotel

The location is perfect. It is very near Jonker Walk.

The toilet is on the lower floor.

Good location, kind staff,

Breakfast was not very good

A very comfortable historic property. The room was a great size for a family (with 2 teen boys!). Everything was spotless and the staff were very friendly. The included breakfast was simple but ample with a nice mix of local and western options. The property is ideally located and a short walk to all the Malacca highlights.

Everything was great. A few extra touches that would have been nice for a room that size would have been some additional hooks for hanging wet towels, an extra luggage rack and even a coat rack (again extra hanging space). But again, nice to haves and certainly not deal breakers

The location, specially the view from the balcony

I wish the hotel had an entrace at the other end of the property since our room was located at the other end of the property

We liked the cool architecture features, the location was very close to the centre. It was quiet and calm. Nice breakfast but limited options, mostly asian.

Stairs are difficult to navigate due to safety hazard, slippery, same colour etc. Layout was poor, stairs in room and TV location not the best. Unable to blackout the room.

Location is very near to all the places and very convenient. Picturesque interior design, and breakfast was super good. Room and bed are all comfy. Would highly recommend if you like a heritage style accommodation.

Parking is a bit inconvenient as it is in another location and need to contact the hotel staff to collect the car if is in a garage. But they are very helpful so not a problem. Stairs are quite steep so need to be careful while going up and down. Overall very nice staying here.

Very clean and friendly staff.Thank you

Sound proof a bit bad

Clean room, welcoming staffs, decoration of the staffs and great breakfast

There was a steep stair in the room which was not confortable for my old parents.

Love the hotel its so clean..Staff were very helpful and friendly..Rooms were prepared nicely definately worth the price Will definately stay again ?

The parking is limited

The food there was really good!Location of the hotel is also strategic and you can easily walk to the attractions.

Not enough secured parking lot at the hotel.

Having two double beds that could accommodate three persons in a single room is a rare gem. Private parking lot. All staff were very helpful.

It is fine. Maybe to indicate the need to take relatively steep steps to get to the rooms. We are in our 60s but managed to climb the stair cases with a little difficulty

Great Location with clean rooms. Decent breakfast provided for a 3 star hotel

Could have provide dental kit and shaving kit prior without requesting

Location, room

Breakfast improvable

The room is clean and the staff are friendly.Breakfast was good. Good location if you want to stay around Jonker street area.

A lot of mosquitoes but luckily not in the room, wifi / network connection need to be improved and maybe a hand shower needed for those who don't like rain showers and for kids.

Enough room for a small family

WIFI on the 2nd floor was not working

The location of this hotel is very nice, close to all the attractions. The room is big, spacious, and well-maintained.

The villa is a bit far from the hotel's main facilities, the weather is too hot, sometimes lazy to walk

Location is good,. Easily accessible.

No facilities in the hotel. Not many variety for breakfast & taste average

The location of hotel and cleanliness of rooms and staff hospitality.

Having bathroom and bedroom in different levels is not very convenient.

Everything: location, facilities, incredible staff,, breakfast etc.

N/A the only thing I would consider is the fact that there is no elevator in the building, so I wouldn't recommend to someone with mobility issues.

Good value and comfortable.

The stairs is steep, not recommend for young children and old folks
