breakfast. During my stay, the dishes were slow to arrive, and some food items were empty, requiring time to refill them.

Room was spacious, well lit, clean and AC worked well. Beds were large, comfortable and firm. Liked the kitchenette.

Dining table could be bigger with more chairs. Toilet cistern was not working properly, water kept flowing. We had to turn water inlet on and off to stop wasting water but this was a minor issue. Would have liked for hotel to have a gym. Corridors leading to room on our floor could be refreshed as it was rather dark and smelled a bit musty.

All staff were very helpful..the front desk..the security..easy check in..nearby morten village..can just walk and watch the river cruise boat at night.

Just that the window needs to be clean.

Th building located at sentral of the Melaka City. Very superb view. It was easily to access go anywhere especially river cruise boat.Took only 550m walking to reach there. swimming pool also friendly kids. Maybe it’s was first time my last son have a fully fun swimming. Thanks a lot Pines Melaka. Sure will repeat again

Maybe can improve breakfast. But doesn’t matter as long our family happy is enough for me

Room was very clean although the safe did not work and the fridge was not working at all. Did not have breakfast at the hotel.

Checking in can be more efficient since it's already been booked and prepaid. Perhaps a separate counter for prepaid guests?

floor to ceiling window was very nice, sky, sunrise-sunset, sea level / cruise ship could be seen from afar, heritage view - neon in the night. very quiet. access lifts & doors, safe box, mini fridge. clean. chill drinks were served during checking in / registration.

1) requested for the inter-connecting door as we booked 2 rooms for the family, couldnt get. its not convenient as we are of 5 adults with 2 small kids. maybe not available - i couldnt really get the reason why during checking in.2) no wifi connection in the room, but managed to get the connection from across the hotel

The room was really spacious and clean. It also had a really nice view of the river, which you could see boats and the colorful lights at night. Staffs were great, checking in and checking out took only around 5 minutes which was really quick! I'm most surprised by how fast the lifts were, even when the building had almost 30 floors!

The room felt a little too large and empty, but overall it was great, clean and well maintained.

I love tbe clean room,the front desk staff.Always smiling and helpful.the closeness to town n workplace.beautiful view form 22nd floor and a lot more to mention.

The breakfast buffet was a big letdown...nothing special to look forward too.The coffee in the room was lousy.even nescafe will be a better option.need to improve on this area to make it more acceptable.More pool deck chair to be made available as there is only one available.

The room was big and had a decent view. Pool was nice.

The hotel needs an upgrade. It was very pricy. I booked a room with a view but had a huge building blocking it. So had to move rooms. Staffs were not friendly. Especially at the front desk. If you want a heritage room you need to add on more money! The lobby was so plain and didnt look fancy for the price we paid. Breakfast was also decent. Not much choices. Could have been better for the price.

Like the room, location and house keeping service

Wonderful stay with our 5 years old kid. The room was super spacious with comfortable sofa. Mini kitchen with dining table. Wonderful location in middle of melaka town and near to melaka river. Plenty of restaurants around this hotel makes us easy to fine good food. Also breakfast was decent taste. I would suggest to add more pastry items like malay kuih and mini cakes.

I like the room given to me right to the top 2810 ... very nice view ... room was nice clean neat and tidy ... I went to the pool side ... nice pool can do laps ... overall I have always stayed at The Pines ... its a nice approachable hotel, one can also take a slow stroll to Jonker by the river which is located at the back of the hotel ... very convenient to catch Grab anywhere I want to go ... The Pines is a good recommendation from me to anyone who visits Melaka. Blessings to one and all and to the staff, reception and dining.

To state what I didn't like or what could have been better for improvements would be an understatement ... it would be considered as a complaint ! and I am no complainer ! I like staying at The Pines and I will always be at The Pines.

The spaciousness of the room. Even have a sofa.
