- Parking: Parking space is small, at most can accomodate around 4 cars.Room: Has unpleasant smell in the room, not sure where it came from. We diffused tons of essential oil but the smell still not go away.Homestay owner: Managed by a chinese couple, husband and wife I believe. During checked in, I was asking the wife if they allowed any discussion to be done at their place and she said we can held the discussion at their place. At night during the project discussion, the husband and wife came to us and questioned us why we are using the common areas in the homestay area to discuss. They even questioned why we are using the power point. FYI, we are using only one plug point and it was used by the in house guest, not by the project team. Then, they talked in chinese and luckily one of us is a Chinese Sabahan who understood what they talked. They cursed us in chinese. The host is rude, they are not capable and shouldn't be doing this hospitality/homestay business. Just focus on your restaurant and farm business. In other words, we pay just to stay in the room, so do not use the homestay facilities.We also had asked the wifi password to be use by the in house guest which is on my kid's ipad but the owner refused to share the password and until we checked out, the owner didn't share the password. The reason is because they don't want me to share the password with my project team. I already stressed that the wifi is to be used by the in house guest not the project team but they insisted not to share the password.During checked out, the rude husband said he's busy cooking in a rude manner and a high voice. He don't want to entertain us to checked out. Luckily, one of their staff noticed the rude husband and the tension, he said nicely and asked me to sit down and wait.We travelled to eight different homestay in Melaka for our project in the past one month and this is by far the worst hospitality given by the homestay owner.
