Looks really grand

Looks grand but looses on usability, no charging points, no hair dryer, bathroom is really uncomfortable and rain water doesn’t really reach you

Breakfast was local food which was good, but happy to make me toast and eggs in any way. The staff were excellent everywhere, the room clean and sufficient with an excellent balcony. A very nice stay.

Could have done with more towels and fresher ones - they'rea bit jaded, 4 pillows, not 2, but not a reason to complain. I could have asked for them I'm sure.

Clean and simple rooms. Not so spacious. Stay for 1 night only, so it was good enough.

There are only steps at the entrance of the hotel. So needed to carry our luggages and stroller up the few steps. But staff are there to help carry.

Nice and clean hotel. Staff is very nice. Recommend a good tour to do bromo, Ijen and the waterfall for a good price! Also on walkable distance from the blue village and rainbow village!

Air conditioning was not so strong.

I like the bed. The new renovated room was nice.

The shower head.. it pointed only one direction. Maybe improve the shower holder.. change it into the adjustable ones.And more pillows would be nice as well. Thanks!

Nice inner court yard / garden style. 'Roman' styling. Good restaurant, prices not higher than outside. Extremely friendly staff. Very extended breakfast. Silent AC in room. Convenient location for walking to Jodipan rainbow village. Not far from train station.

People are allowed to smoke in the hallways/ corridors. That is disgusting. No vegan protein options in the restaurant; but you have this problem all over Indonesia.

The smell at the entrance, view on the street from the lobby/entrance.Funny sewer smell at the entrance and funny still dusty smell in the room.Dark hall ways, no ornaments/ambiance in the room.Poor inconvenient bath room

Location was good. Team working were pleasant and helpful.

Was going through some renovations which unfortunately reflects in the rating I gave. Dusty, noisy. Wasn't listed as undergoing renovation.

Can be better. I think it can be provide as Breakfast sets for choice. Can safe someWaste food. And are hot and freshly prepared.

Focus the number of rooms and it guest number for service. Bed sheets and towels replacement for right size of guest. Control your cost.

The rooms should be ventilated and toilets should be updated.

The location was great. The staff is indeed very friendly. Breakfast and dinner is available too and is good if you don't have time to go to any other restaurant

But the rooms very old and not what you would expect from the pictures. It was dirty and the water in the bathroom was leaking and not warm. They tried to fix it once we told the staff. I think it's still good value for the money but do not expect what the name might suggest.

Comfortable stay! The hotel was a good location in the city.

The beds and room were a bit outdated, and the bed was pretty uncomfortable. They need to do some remodeling of the facilities at this place

The fountain from the pictures in the middle is really nice and calming. The hotel is on a busy street, but no noise inside the hotel. The staff was friendly, but didn't speak any English.

The pictures are really beautiful, but don't be fooled by them. Everything in the hotel is really outdated and uncomfortable. The room is really small, there are way better hotels in Malang for the same price. Our room had cockroaches in it and was full of flies. Upon telling the staff, they came in our room to take pictures of all our stuff, even digging through the trash to find something to blame us for the problem. The breakfast itself was nice, we could eat between 6 and 10 am. The staff called us at 8 am to ask if we still wanted breakfast and that they would wait until 10 for us. They did this every morning, waking us up of course.

We checked in , there is a bad smell coming out of the room. when we took shower, the water from the shower location leaked out to the wash basin location.We shared a twin bed, one bed was broken and felt like it may require some replacement.the ad said there was wifi in the room, hence the connection was poor and I had to go to the second floor on the place where there are so many tables.I get it thats its pandemic, but I felt for the price I paid, Id rather stay at fancy or premium guesthouse.The towels are all clean, the water is provided, but overall staying will not recommend me coming back to that hotel.

Very good value and location

Need a renovation in one spot or two. It wasnt that I didnt like it. Also probably they can add up more electrical socket in a room. And provide smoking room option :)

Honestly, everything about The Grand Palace hotel is 5 star.
