The room had an unpleasant smell (406). I had to sleep with the window open (in november). I arrived late and I was staying for only one night, so i didn't complain. The bed was uncomfortable.

This was an experience above expectations. Cheapest rooms in the city, yet well renovated; recent upgrades of the elevators, rooms and dining. Massive breakfast (pay the night before for 5o% discount)L and excellent responsive staff, couldn’t fault it at all. The parking is right outside your front; and the location in the dead center of town with lovely views either across the Danube, or down the main pedestrian area.

Perfect , central location and parking in front of the hotel.

Some maintenance details need to be addressed.

Friendly and helpful staff, as always! Really enjoyed the lunch menu deal. Food was tasty and portions just the right size.

It was a clean room, clean bed linen and towels. Beautiful view. Big parking space. Not bad breakfast. I stayed there two times and it was quite good.

Interesting building with somewhat old-fashioned but reasonably equipped rooms, right in the city center.

Breakfast is fine for its price of 5 EUR, but I did not quite like that one day the reasonable buffet was replaced by a slow and inefficient service with a plate of food, a cup of coffee, and not even a glass of water extra. Windows are not fully sound-proof. I could hear the cars even with the windows fully closed.

Fron outside old communist style building, lobby very "authentic" from that time, but has own charme. Rooms updated while ago - not the latest design, but very clean, comfy, classic. Staff helfpul, location perfect in the city center. Price amazingly good for wat it offers.

Comfortable bed, the hotel is situated in a beautiful historical centre.

The lobby was šneky and not tourist-friendly. I would also appreciate a kettle to make tea it coffee.

Hotels like this are part of the story of a town and must be preserved at all cost, they are an unique opportunity of feeling the vibe of old times. Located in the heart of the town, clean, cozy, comfortable, quiet. We loved the experience there.

The room was big and clean.

It was no tea or coffee, and a kettle.Mini fridge was there. They charged extra for all the drinks we took.That would be nice to leave a kettle, tea , coffee, sugar, and other drinks packs on the table like any other standard hotels.

Old building but renovated on the inside. Well placed in the city center. Very clean room and super comfy bed. Average breakfast. Excellent value overall.

It’s my 1st time at the 3rd floor. Usually I’m at the 5th. Was as good. The view, the facilities, the cleanliness, everything. Good value for the money. Nice staff.

Clean and comfortable room. Very close to the centre. The whole place has a 1960s/James Bond/modernist kind of vibe.

Quality buffet breakfast. Daily lunch menu was well chosen, tasty, good quality. All staff at the reception desk and in the restaurant were exceptionally friendly. Very nice view over the central plaza and the Theater buildings.

We liked Hotel Traian.. The staff were very pleasant with the serious exception of the 'Restaurant Manager' at breakfast on Friday 11/10/24. He was bullying to the rest of the staff and rude to us

Elevators shall be upgraded

Central location, available parking, very clean, good value for the money.An old building, old elevators, however the room was ok.

Great location. Nice big windows, but very little river view on the 6th floor. I think higher floors will have a better view.

Hotel is a bit dated. Old carpets, style... that sort of thing. Probably Chaushesku era. Could hear the couple next room having "fun". Don't know if because the walls were not very sound proof or because they were extremely loud though. Water from the shower leaked into the bathroom and I could not find a way to stop it. Good shower though, but hot water took a while to come out.
