Location to sites was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The parking is not what I expected but I know why now that I visited the area.

Toilet and room smell, and there is no private parking

First of all location is exceptional. In the old town area. and also with access to transport (from front door)I appreciate the building and the historical overall image that was kept after transformation of the old building in a hotel.You can see and fill the combination between old and new. This is not my first stay here, but is first time traveling alone.

- the pillow is poor and the bed is not so good.- Unfortunately, our room had an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom drain, which seemed to be related to the sewage system. The smell eventually spread throughout the room and made it difficult for us to sleep comfortably.As we stayed only one night, we did not notice this issue immediately. When we first entered the room, it had a strong fragrance that appeared to mask the odor. However, once the fragrance faded and the staff had left, the sewage smell became noticeable and affected our night’s rest.

The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The location is fabulous, just a few steps from the old town. The breakfast is EXCELLENT! Good coffee, selection of fresh vegetables, a good variety of eggs, bacon, sausages etc. A cozy feel to the breakfast room, too.

I like the hotel, and returned. however, this time was not that good as it was VERY noisy, every single step the other guests were taking, we heard. especially if the children were running (and parents were rude, did not even bothered to stop them). literally the walls were vibrating. so for those that are looking for quietness, this is a no go.

Close to city center! Close to bus station! Beautiful accommodation and cozy stay, with excellent breakfast!

Great location, big room, good shower, plenty of hot water and comfortable bed. Situated on the main high street, so very central to restaurants, shops and the town square.

Nothing really, perhaps a.little basic but we knew that when booking. Kettle, tea, coffee not in rooms on arrival but sourced from reception and kitchen, obviously not a standard thing they supply. No parking at the hotel, so may involve a drive round the surrounding streets to find a space, which is chargeable, pay on the T Park App

No elevator, only stairs, not a bit problem though for those with few bags and healthy kneesThe hotel does not have its own Parking. Street PAID parking is available, BUT ONLY IF you are lucky to find a spot. I did multiple lapses with no success...ultimately when i was ready to give up and look for another hotel, i got lucky as someone was leaving and i parked in that place...Street parking is not free and the machine does not accept cards, nor does it give change..so after all the pain i had finding a parking spot, i had to look for an ATM. It was easier to find than a parking spot, but still a nuisance! It is certainly not the kind of experience one expects when using "parking filter" when booking

Horrible parking, and it can be impossible to find a parking space depending on time. Staff was just lukewarm. Rooms were avaerage.

The building is special and there are several kinds of rooms. Make sure you get a room that suits your requirements. Excellent breakfast.

The lack of air conditioning. No hangers in the bathroom!

Authentic cozy old style Downtown Hotel. Great location, very good breakfast and helpful staff. All what you need to stay a couple of days in Brasov. It could be a challenge to find a parking spot nearby if you come by car))

Very good location, room was comfortable even without ac.

Smoking in the courtyard was a bother especially because there is no ac, so need to leave windows open.

Brilliant location for the main square and yet still tucked away and quiet enough.Staff allowed me to store my luggage for a few hours after I checked out and were very nice.Generally quite good value for money and interesting old building.

Although not a major issue as I only stayed one night, the single room I had was not very private as located in the main 'courtyard'. The cleaners and other guests, for example, would sit outside the room talking and smoking etc. Again, not exactly a major issue but you do need to keep the window shut and curtains closed if you want more privacy.The room is a more 'traditional' style due to the age of the building and not very light, which might not be to everyone's taste.

We were places in a street facing room and it was really noisy despite the double glass Windows. Also, there were no black out curtains

Staff : we requested help for parking the car - since we did not know how it works with Tpark , believe me it is not that obvious if you are not using the app and I had no idea that the app existed bcs he never mentioned it. You need to have the right amount with bills that are neither too old nor to new and need to pray for the machine to change the language for English… I lost almost 10 euros bcs the hotel clerk did not tell me that parking is free from Saturday 8pm to Monday 8am...

Spacious room. Centrally located hotel. Walking distance to the main sights.

There were no amenities like even a shower cap or facial tissue. There was just a teeny weeny trash can in the bathroom, none in the room. The stairs going to our room had uneven steps.

It was at an excellent location. Just 50 yards and you on a walking street. 250 yards and you are on the Council Square. Our room was nice with an upgraded bathroom. Some reviewers complained about noise but that was not the case for us. The breakfast was abundant and the selection quire good.

Parking is a challenge! But when you are close to the center of the city what to expect...It would be nice if the hotel had some reserved spots like we had in Sibiu....
