Hotel Oasis

It was a very quiet place and the owner always smiling and very helpful. The room was very clean and the breakfast fresh. Also very good coffee at any time to serve. Thank you for making my stay pleasant.

A nice small hotel, looks like a family business, clean and comfortable. Placed on a quiet street. A nice courtyard, with enough space for car parking.Very clean rooms. Very clean restaurant. Friendly staff.Breakfast was very good regarding the quality, but very few items.

The hotel is a little far away from the main attractions of this city (Black Church, Historical Center). There are almost 3 km to these places, a little too long way for some tourists, especially when you come back to the hotel after wondering all day. Fortunately, the taxis are cheap, you can use it without problem (keep also in mind that it is very difficult to find a parking place in the center of the city).Though the family room that we have used was very nice, we have two small problems: the sofa was too uncomfortable (a hard sofa bed), and the small refrigerator didn't work at all.

Everything was great. Quiet, nice, clean. Just perfect for a getting away break from work.

Quite and clean place, we stayed at the suite, only the bedroom has an AC. Beds are comfy, location is OK if you have a car to drive to the center. Staff was nice.

NO ENGLISH speaking people at place. Communication was horrible. We had to call a 3rd party / Google Translate to communicate. We wrote the place in advanced that we are 2 adults and 3 kids, got the family suite which is has 4 beds only. Got a tiny sofa bed for 2 kids. AC was only in one room, not as we were told.

We were a family of 3 adults and we have requested 1 room for 3 adults (meaning 3 beds).The room had 1 matrimonial bed and a leather sofa on which one of us struggled to sleep.When we opened the bathroom door a half of bathroom was occupiedThe breakfast was poor, most of the cofee cups at the restaurant were dirty

I booked 2 different rooms with 2 double beds and only one was double. The remote control of AC wasn't in the room (it was the first time I saw that!) . The service wasn't good, bc couldn't even speak English! My room didn't smell good, it was weird.

The staff is absolutely great, and i mean here the owners are 2 wonderful souls. The food is good and plenty, clean, quiet and close to the center. I was so impressed that i booked another trip 3 days later.

Hotel Oasis is a great place to stay in Brasov. Quiet district, clean and cosy rooms. Air conditioning, balcony, nice yard with places to eat your breakfast... I really like it!

Breakfast is on demand, not so great and you have to wait a little too much to be served (in the last morning I waited around 10 min for someone to come)

The breakfast is good. The apartment was big and clean.

The owners made us feel very welcome. We brought our daughter at very short notice after we had made the booking for just ourselves. The owners said there was no problem and made a sofa bed available. We shared conversation with the owners in the breakfast resturaunt on our first night.The hotel is lovely, kept well with ample parking. It is ten minutes drive from the old centre of Brasov (that we visited on two occasions). The room had a good view of the hills and mountains close to the city.Though food is not served in the evening (breakfast only), there are a number of nice resturaunts within a 10-15 minute walk.We would thoroughly recommend The Oasis and on our return to Brasov next year, we will certainly return.Maria and Phil

The rooms are very big, and comfortable for a stay. AC is available. Breakfast is personalised and very tasty.

The neighbouring construction site can be noisy in the morning.

The breakfast is amazing. Not only is everything of top notch quality but there's plenty of it as well. For a family run hotel, it's impressive what they manage to achieve. The staff is extremely friendly and caring, the manager and owner of the hotel who ran the reception made me feel like I was visiting my grandmother.The hotel itself is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood surrounded by houses. It's 3-5 minutes away from an all-night store where you can get anything you may need. Next to said store is a bus stop that will take you into the old town within 10 minutes, although you can walk the distance in 20 minutes also. The hotel is located 20 minutes on foot from the train station, or there's a bus that takes about 10 minutes.There's a nice outdoors patio/garden area where you can sip a coffee or tea and it plays host to a small artificial pond with fish.

Passable

Two out of three nights the hotel was very noisy with very loud music. I know we were there over the holidays, but come on, I booked a hotel to rest and sleep, and I did not book to stay in a club! Also there is no lift, ... and if I place a booking for a double bed, I expect I get a double bed.

The hotel was in a calm area, not too far away from the old city centre, 35 minutes of walk. Staff was really friendly. Room was clean, warm, it even had a balcony. Best part was the breakfast, included in the price, it was delicious with a nice variety. I would come back here on my next stay in the city.

The parking.....

As usual in Romanian hotels the whole bathroom is like a lake and the water is going everywhere but not where it should go. Dangerous as well... Very slippery. The toilet is so closely built to the wall that you must be a yoga expert to use it....

Staff was very nice and cooperative.

Breakfast was awful, you have 6 choices of breakfast and they’re all bad, there were no working outlets in the room and the mini-fridge wasn’t plugged in, I stayed there for two nights and the price was as high as a 4 star hotel in a nearby city.
