Hotel City Center

The receptionists were very nice, the Hotel could be actually excellent. It feels like it will go out of business soon

The heating was insufficient when working, but it was a nightmare after 10 AM when there was none at all. At a temperature of 1-3 Celsius outside, it was really freezing inside the room. For Winter time DO Not book there!

Wonderful, very cozy, neat, well equipped and spacious appartment, Welcome bottle of wine in the kitchenette. Good location - walking distance from the train station. Small food store nearby.

Difficult communication with the owner - no reactions to our Qs at booking.com messages. Upon our arrival to the airport we still did not have any access codes (got it only after several phonecalls). The inside of the house is very shabby, in contrast to the modern and clean appartment. The lift did not work the first day, so we had to drag our suitcases upstairs (3 or 4 floors). Note that after setting the code at the entrance gate to the house, you have to wait for quite a long time (ca 10s at least) untill the gate opens. Otherwise, everything was fine :-)

Mattress was comfortable. Room was large and clean and modern. Nice to have parking. Easy close walk to old town.

The pub was really loud for hours and hours into the night. The shower was broken and cheap. The room needs blackout curtains, especially with the loud pub noise all night. The twin blanket was too small for an adult.

The position to the Piata Sfatui

It was very dark; needs proper light. There was 2 glasses in the room if different of different sizes and were not even wrapped in plastic so we were not sure how clean they were. A very small rubbish bin in the bathroom, one chair in a room for two people. Also for two nights for two people we only got 2 tiny shampoo and 2 shower gel portions. For 2 night fir 2 people should have been 4 pieces of shampoo and 4 pieces of shower gel. Nobody cleaned the room. Breakfast was very poor for the price we have payed. There was no mini bar how was stated when we booked.

The Breakfast was good

Instead of soap, we had toilet solution, the pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, on the 2nd floor the light in the hallway doesn't work and all night you can hear a noise from a refrigerator or something like that! The area is not quiet, you can hear the traffic outside!

We stayed two nights without breakfast! The room was very spacious, comfy and clean with new furniture! The same applies to the bathroom, it was really big! The whole floor was covered with carpet! The hotel has private parking so you do not need searching around, but it is not 100% percent closed to non hotel residents! The personnel was very helpful and kind! They also accepted our bikes inside the hotel for overnight storage, that is really great! And about the price, it is really a value for money! I would definitely visit it again and! I highly recommend it!

Someone can enter to the parking lot! It is not 100% without access to non residents, but it is monitored by cameras!

Shabby rooms, dirty floors and walls, air-co not working in two of the 4 rooms during a heatwave, torn towels, poor lights, shaky locks and door knobs, ill-maintained bathroom equipment. One bed was made of 2 matresses piled upon each other. Very poor breakfast.We were served yogurt expired 11 days before! Definitely way too expensive for what it is. Its 3-star rating is questionable. We DO NOT recommend this place.

One thing that I liked about the property were the staff, very friendly especially the first person we met. Gave us a brilliant restaurant suggestion too.

It's not 3-star hotel, maybe if it was 3 out of 10... The room is not clean, there are some stains on the bed - the headrest. The carpet is dusty (if you have dust mite allergy, run away). The air conditioner is some very old machine standing on the floor and it's quiet like a drill or an engine.. and it's turning itself on and off when it wants, only way to sleep is to disconnect it from the socket. And there you'll find a real web of wires... There's no fridge or electric kettle. There's only bed and not very functional furniture like from teenager's room in the '90s... Bathroom - yes, there's a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Looks quite clean, apart from the floor... I stayed in many places in Brasov and this one is significantly different from others. Even by the next street there's a much better apartment for couple of euros more, but it's thousand times better.

The room was nice

When we came to the hotel the room they gave us was dirty and all messed up, but they changed our room. After that the elevator broke down so we had to walk to our floor. When we wanted to buy breakfast they were rude and said they couldn't give us change for a 200lei bill. They didnt even tell us where to go to exchange it for smaller ones. After we got the breakfast it was awful. They had nothing only eggs, sausages, tomatoes, cereal, marmelade and some jam. For drinks only water and coffee. We even came around 8:30 and breakfast was from 7-10 o'clock. They only brought bread because one man asked. They didnt fill any stations for food.

Decent stay in city center in this price range, pretty clean rooms and bathroom with the basics you need; nice private parking; 10-15 mins walking distance from the old town but also close to the shopping center

A bit noisy area since it's in the middle of the city

The staff was nice and helpful. The location was nice and not far from old town Square.

The first room I had the shower leaked water all over the floor. I walked back into the bathroom and almost fell down. Was given another room the shower still leaded but not as bad. The air conditioner smelled like dirt. I cleaned the filters, and the smell went away. The hotel has no staff at night. I was left alone and the only one in the hotel a couple of nights. Breakfast is only served if they have more rooms occupied. Not always staff to clean the room. This hotel needs a lot of maintenance.

Great location, only 15-20 min walking to old center. Car parking available at the property, included in the room price. Nice room, not newly refurbished but in good condition
