Jackaroo Motel

Location was good and easy to find / access. Undercover parking in front of the room was appreciated and was quite wide. Room was reasonably large and spacious and provided desk space to work at.

Maybe a slightly larger TV. The vanity basin sink spout needed replacing as water sprayed out at strange angles. I suspect there is an under floor plumbing issue as water gurgled back up the vanity basin whist having a shower.

Room was absolutely clean, tidy and spotless. It had everything we needed and it was great to be able to make a cuppa and have a biscuit in the room. There was also a microwave in the room. The room was large and parking was right outside our door. It is right across the road from the Mareeba Information Centre and one of the reasons that we chose to stay here as we were going on a balloon ride early the next morning. Check-in was welcoming.

Rooms a little dated, but were presented well and very, very clean and tidy.

Clean bathroom, towels and bedding. Very friendly housekeeping staff.

Our room was on the corner of a busy road junction and the sound proofing was minimal. The traffic was going all night. Consequently there was very little sleep to be had.There was nowhere to eat nearby, so we had to drive into town.

The gentleman at the front desk on the weekend went above and beyond for myself and my partner. The facilities were fantastic and in close proximity to town. The staff were amazing and would definitely recommend the Jackaroo motel. Will definitely be staying there again.

shower rose (on end of hose) didn't have a proper hook to sit in so shower pointed too low.

Huge room, very clean, staff very pleasant.

The beds were large and plentiful buy not great

Clean, spacious room, very comfortable bed, enjoyed the pool and was a nice casual relaxed place to stay.

Only thing I would suggest is to provide some crockery and cutlery for guests.

Very spacious room. Good shower. Clean and well equipped.

Due to the location of the room there was some road noise.

Location is the best and surprisingly despite being on the main road after about 7pm the noise was minimal. very clean and comfortable. lots of room to park.

Economical basic motel. A little dated but clean and functional.

It was clean and tidy and well looked after. The owner and the staff were amazing. If we needed anything or something went wrong they were straight onto it.

I couldn't contact the staff at night, as I had a problem. I tried several times, but there was only one number, which kept going to mail. The office was closed by 7 even though it said 8pm.There was no designated parking for room 14.
