Great parking, nice room, cleanLovely staff

The car sales lot next door played their radio... the whole night long....Could hardly sleep! Not the fault of the hotel but if this is an ongoing issue for guests this should be addressed.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, making check-in smooth and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing place to unwind. Despite being close to the road, there was very little traffic noise, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The rooms are not huge but they are some of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. I am an absolute clean freak and it was refreshing to finally be in a room I felt was hygienic and the cleaners doing all things that show attention to detail is important.

Not much really. If I was to be nit picking, I didn’t understand why the bed wasn’t made fully. The blankets are folded in the cupboard so they were supplied I just didn’t understand it. Also, the fur blanket that is brown in colour smelt very used and didn’t feel fresh or clean at all. Other than the above I was really impressed with my overall experience.

The rooms are really modern, the staff were really friendly and helpful and we loved the pool.

The bed was really hard which is probably a personal preference but we didn’t sleep well.

Nice room with easy access and parking at the front door. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant was bright airy and very clean. Bathroom was little dated but very clean as well. Daily servicing was a good touch as well.

Our family was travelling to Lady Elliot Island and needed a comfortable place to stay overnight in Bundaberg. We stayed at Takalvan Motel and it exceeded our expectations.The room was very comfortable, with easy and convenient parking right outside. The staff were exceptional. We arrived after hours and were given clear, well-organised instructions, and when we called, our call was answered promptly by someone who was friendly and genuinely helpful.After we left, we realised we had accidentally left some items behind. The staff kindly contacted us to let us know and held them safely so we could collect them after returning from Lady Elliot Island — a level of service that really stood out.Great value for money and a stress-free stay. We would happily stay again and highly recommend Takalvan Motel to anyone passing through Bundaberg.

Clean, tidy, good location for both hospital and retirement home visits. Close to restaurants and bottle shop all within walking distance. Owners were very friendly and welcoming.

Room can use a bit of style design. It looks like a collection of furniture. All good and solid, but no vision.

It was our second time staying at the Takalvan. Very clean and comfortable and the staff are always so nice.
