Emerald Highlands Motel

It was a roof over our heads.The room was clean. It was close to all the amenities we required.The staff were helpful after they understood our requests.

Staff could not speak english.The other residence had dogs, complaints about not wanting leters addressed to them delivered and may have been not suitable to mix with my children.There was no english speaking staff onsite.

Good location to town, eating & sightseeing

Other guest's smoking right out the doors of their rooms, making approach & exit a little uncomfortable & smelly

The room was quite shabby. It had the basic necessities but nothing more. To top it off, a mouse came running out from under the fridge. The manager was able to move us to another room when I complained about the mouse.

It’s a non smoking facility. Other guest smoking outside of rooms made stay uncomfortable. There were small flying bugs in the room which required but spray to control. Beds uncomfortable.

Some noisy rough people staying/living there made us feel uncomfortable. Someone parked in our carpark

good location.took my kids to the near by parks opposite the hospital .the owner n the family were too kind and friendly very welcoming .❤️❤️❤️❤️

The family room we booked far exceeded our expectation. We had 2 large and 1 single beds, dining table and chairs as well as a bench and chairs. Around the corner from KFC & Mecca's as well as a woolworths shopping centre.

I still like the location it is in.

I used to stay here all the time and loved it hence why although it was more expensive then most I decided to stay here again - this time I was quite disappointed. This time it was not clean, it was very loud by the other guests and children who seem like they are living there now (cloth lines, toys, plants and couches out the front of their rooms) which also gave me an unwelcome feeling- no plates or bowls or cutlery to use - dead geckos in my cups - I had cockroaches running all over the place at night and just generally this time was extremely disappointed especially as it one of the most expensive around also.

Light fitting L/ side bed was unsafe. Needed an electrical inspection.

Not having police turn up there for the junkies living there in permanent rooms.

Quiet and comfortable

There was no cutlery/plates, etc to make breakfast although toaster and microwave were in the room.

Spotlessly Clean , Easy to find, lovely people working behind the counters.

Location, very easy to find and well placed within walking distance of restaurants and pubs.Reception staff - we didn't even see them. They called us ahead of check in to tell us where the keys would be, The keys were dropped off on completion. The downside is that there was no-one present to respond to complaints, but as there were none, this was not an issue.The room was very clean, well appointed, and large. We requested a King size bed, and it was very comfortable. The ensuite was large, well equipped with shampoo, soaps, conditioners etc, and there was plenty of hot water.The complex had plenty of dedicated parking spaces, and there was little noise from adjoining rooms.All in all, a good stay - the premium price reflected the premium room, so whilst being a little expensive, it was worth it.

Whilst we have enjoyed staying here for quite a while now, we have noticed the rooms slowly changing. This trip we had mould in the bathroom and cockroaches of a night, however there was no staff to available to rectify.

We paid for the upgraded room but never received it. Communication was difficult. We were given the choice of 2 rooms not realising one wasn't the upgrade.

Disappointed in supplies in room.

No plates, bowls, knives, forks etc and only 1 mug, no facecloth or hand towels but had a tea towel!!
